Well, if anyone does have any experience ordering I'd like to hear from them as I have my eyes on a few of the kits---the feminine side of the figures sure do come through--I believe she is a woman...

[quote user="Manstein's revenge"] Herr Feldmarschall!

There are some well-done female figures at this site, too:

http://aurora-model.jp/e-index.html

Aurora Models in Japan.  Cool...wish there was a US distributor...

~Yeah I know, huh? Seriously cool figures there

I've been directed to that site before, but as hard as it is to fathom 2ooo Yen, ($22.30) +shipping, for example, is a little more than I like to spend on one figure....maybe someday to get just the right girl.....

Manny, consider it as a good thing that there is no US distributor because you would have bought everything from this great website.  What the heck, I see couple of female figures I want to use for future diomaras! Tempting...

Aurora Models in Japan.  They tend to have a look reminiscent of anime girls, though, or perhaps somewhat like the old Phoenix Model Developments figures.  But I think they have a human touch, especially the Luftwaffe auxiliaries in her catalog.

Outstanding!  Nobody can paint female figures better than you Manny... is she a waist zero or two?

I have to agree with Doog and others... the dog looks bigger than usual unless the lady had to adopt the biggest one from the dog pound for maximum protection from those horny Russkies?

Her waist size is actually a 1...as far as the dog, maybe it isn't too out of scale after all:

LMAO...he? He 'aint heading nowhere...He's packing her back off to Berlin so he can resume his carousing at his present cushy assignment in Paris as the SS Gruppenfuher in charge of French wine procurement.  She just came down for the weekend...

He's the chap that hooked up with "Lily of the Lamp Post", ain't he Manny...

Yep, he's quite the ladies' man, as can be seen in this other candid pics of him around Paris...

Looks to be a nice simple one. Personally, I'm looking forward to seeing more of this one.

Can you give some info on how you are painting the officers' uniform?

From what I understand, nylon supply were very scare during the war that women didn't wear stockings but they sometimes would paint black lines on the back of their legs to fool men like us... very easily!

HEY DOOG!!!  Tongue [:P]

Very cute, Manny! A cool scene, for sure. I do agree that this doog is quite huge, scale-wise. I hope he fits into the scene when all is done. The scene could survive without him, if need be.

Yeah, almost don't believe he is 35th scale but he came from a MASTERBOX kit of a German Sentry Post. My other 35th scale German Shephards are much smaller (Dragon offerings) and I have read that European breeds are smaller than most think.

I was thinking of putting him in the back seat with his head poking out of the rolled-down window...might find another home for him though...Big Smile [:D]
