well, i have the time and interest, but not the skills or the money. i've just got back into the hobby and am easing back in with simple kits like cars. up here a 1/350 battle ship runs for about $100. i'd want to make sure i had some practice first before spending that much. i've got another idea very similar to the sherman tank example, except using a civil war cannon.

I weould like to know how a group build works. The thought of doing one sounds very interesting. If someone will clue me in, I'd appreciate it.

Medals are not "Won", they are "Earned".

A GB is when people from the forum build models that are somehow related. They start on a start date and end on an end date. In this case we are builing two dios, one before and one after, with any models we choose. thats basically a GB.

This is a very interesting idea to say the least ...I have several ideas already just since I have started reading this thread. One idea I have would have the back-end of an old Ford Mustang rotting in the weeds with kids throwing rocks and putting graffiti on it , the front half would be fully restored and in a shop setting with someone taking pics of it.Anyhow, just a thought.I would like to join but I build about as fast as pondwater moves.
