Awesome! really different subject matter...
but the thing that strikes me is the GI's remind me of Japanese, and the colors of the whole dio make it seem in the south pacific....or maybe that is just me but anyways...
good work!

Great job Dwight. An action dio that really puts the war in perspective: "Its me or him(them)." The GI has a Thompson, I don't think the Germans have much of a chance. Its all a matter of survival. Fine fine work.

Hey Dwight- i'm gonna be that jerk that has a moot point-dio looks terrific-just keep the blood to a minimum and not so red-it quickly oxidizes to a rusty brown.

Dave: Thank you. It's kinda difficult for me right now to really write a how to page since I also consider my self in the learning process. However, you can e-mail me should you have specific questions about how I build my dios and I would be happy to answer them to the best of my ability.

OUTSTANDING drama, layout, composition, execution.... it's just right, Dwight!! Smile [:)] And who cares if it offends anyone; it's war, not an ice cream social!

Thanks for letting us see! Smile [:)]

Take care,

Thanks. Actually lots of popsicle sticks. Those are much cheaper than balsa here in my country but a bit tough to cut and to glue together to form thicker pieces.

Looks great, Dwight!
I always like hearing your background stories.
Don't worry about the violence. As has been mentioned, it is indeed war! Your dio is tastefully done, and shouldn't offend anybody.
I think your muzzleflash looks good! Not "fake" at all.

Duke: Good point on the hit. Thanks.

Kelly: I did some frankensteining of the parts to get that pose. I have a lot of spare body parts so I guess it was not that hard to mix and match. Od course I have to shorten or lengthen or bend some parts, too.

Thanks for the respose guys.

Very nice, Dwight! Cool little bridge. How'd you get the German who's getting hit on the fly posed like that?

Great dio! It's about time we see some combat in a dio! The wounds look very well done, although the standing German that got hit in the soldier actually looks like he got hit in the head with the way his head is thrown back. Muzzle flash is good. I wouldn't change it. The scenery is awesome, and I like the 'cloudy' river. Looks like it would sometime after a summer rainstorm that may be taking place in the distance.

Dwight, you are the Master. Your work keeps motivating me to work on my diorama/photobase.
