gregers, you are 100%...................... First of all does the question really have to do with a coulpe of polor bears, nothing that I can find. That's why the question asks about the cubs, they're a baseball team and the first part was just a bit of nonsence. I'm really a umpire for the game, so ............... you are correct. Besides if I'd asked about the bears it would be about football, oh well!

Just the memories. With living and growing up on a farm, there wasn't much to do at night except listen to the radio. Up untill 1957 BC (before computers) when my parents got a TV, our only form of entertainment was the radio. The ones I mention before, plus Dick Tracy, Our miss Brooks, Uncle Milton, and so many more.

After we got a TV, a lot of what we watched was from the old radio shows. A few new one came along. Raw Hide, The Wonderful World of Color (forerunner of WW of Disney), The Pondarosa (with Ben, Adam, Hoss, and Little Joe), which were all quality shows. None of the car chasing, kick boxing, excssive profanity, sexual content, bloody scenes stuff you see now on TV.

Maybe that is why that era is refered to as the "Golden Age of Radio". I can't go back, but I sure have my memories.

While we're showing off our best pics. Here's mine of a Cloaked Klingon Bird of Prey.

Sorry about the boring background, but if I use another background it doesn't cloak as well. I think I screwed up and used and older deflector sheild by mistake.

Plum reminded me of a figure that I built several years ago of 'The Shadow'. Some of ya'll might not be familiar with him, the original Shadow, that is. (Berny, I know you HAVE to know the Shadow...) Or some of you may know the fairly recent and slightly fatuous screen adaptation with an okay performance by Alec Baldwin. (the original Shadow never walked around with guns blazing like that... )

Anyhoo, if you wanna see the figure, it's in the figures forum under the heading, "The weed of crime bears bitter fruit..."

Hey Butz, that the Tamiya kit? You finally ripped into that bugger, eh? Looks good...
