The original kit was converted from the glass nose version to the 8 gun hard nose version using the Black Box nose conversion set. One major error in the build was that vthe nose marking is not correct for this particular color scheme. Bottom line, make sure your research is correct.

We don't get to see Invaders here often, and yours is a treat to the eyes.  Well done, and thanks for sharing your work. Approve [^]

Nice looking Invader.  I'm working on one for the Forgotten War Group Build and am making my own conversion from the glass nose to the gun nose.  I'm also in the process of re-scribing all of the panel lines - lots of access panels in the wings!

I have one of the Pro Modeler's as well.. I'd started on it last October or so... It has disappeared COMPLETELY from my apartment... Can't find it anywhere...  I've lost parts, even lost an entire sprue of parts once (Panzer IV) but never a whole KIT!

Found a close-up of your nose-art..

Ive forgotten I had a particular kit in the stash, purchased another and then found the first one. But I've never lost an entire one. Yowch! I hate it when that happens!

Neat nose art.

Cheers, David

Good Gawd, what a vicious beast! Now that's a War Bird!

Really nice job on that. Especially nice joins on the all the glass to fuselage.
