Mach 2 Viscount

Has anyone out there actually seen the Mach 2 Vickers Viscount kit?  I went to the Mach 2 website to see if they had a picture of a built up model.  They did and it looked terrible.  My question is, is that a bad picture or did Mach mess up another one?

Mach 2 (and other french short run manufacturers) are know for their difficult kits. In a lot of cases their kit is your only option but they often need a lot of work.

While I haven't seen the Viscount, I do have most of their X-planes.  Here's what you can look forward to, lots of flash, soft plastic, soft detail, cloudy clear parts and vague instructions.  If you're not beholden to one scale, Glencoe has re-released their Viscount in 1/96 which I think is a repop of an old Hawk kit which would have its own problems.  I've built a couple of Glencoe kits and I'd build them before I built a Mach 2.  Plus the Glencoe is a whole lot cheaper.

Here's a link to some finished pics of a model someone on another forum did that used the Mach 2 Viscount as a base:

Looks like something can come from it if you're willing to go the distance wit hit.

A friend has built one and was surprised by the fit, it was pretty good compared to previous models. There are some accuracy issues but it looks nice built up.
