Hello,

I dont think that I have posted some Japanese aircrafts.

This one is made from the Hasegawa kit, 1/48, pretty nice but I've lost unfortunately the windshield. Dark green/yellowish gray for a plane seen at the end of the war, probably used for teaching purposes. Overall airbrushed markings, except the 83 on the tail.

Kullervo, great looking build, shame about the windscreen.

Really like the paint chipping effect.

How did you do that?

Hi Karl,

Chipping effect is not so difficult. A coat of metal color, then the green, and before it is completly dry, use some masking tape to remove the paint where you want and finish with sharp brush or some needle for the most precise scratchs..

Hope it might help !

Very nice Oscar.  Kind of let down by the missing windscreen.  Have you tried to get a replacement ?  You should be able to get one from Hasegawa.

Kullervo, thanks for the hints on achieving the chipping.

I've got a spare Falcon vac canopy for the Ki-43.

Any use to you?

Drop me a PM with your address if it is.

Karl
