That is some serious paint work and superdetailing!  Very, very well done.

Wow!  That's a really nice looking Blackbird.  Great looking cockpit and an excellent paint job!  Panel lines and rivets look great - what a tedious job!

Always was fascinated by the Blackbird... The cockpit work is amazing, even though I'm not a "Jet Guy", I am a Gizmologist/scratch-builder and it's great to see what others can do with the scrapbox and some "Imagineering".. Who needs after-market, eh?

One of my Dad's war buddies went into SR-71s and when I was a meer lad of about 12, he and his family was visiting us one summer... I asked him how high he could fly it, and he said," I can't tell you that, but I CAN tell you that I know the Earth is round..."Toast

I also recall the words of another SR-71 pilot, well, sorta anyway... Hope I can do it justice here..

When asked about the performance of the aircraft, he said, "You know that part of "High Flight" when he puts out his hand and touches the face of God?  Well, we have to decelerate and descend to do that..."
