hi all....i've bought the limited edition Eduard's kit of Bac Lightning mk1/mk2........in the box there is also another tail fin,more big, that I would use to make an mk3 version........is enought??In other words what are the major differences between the mk2 and mk3????Thanks to all....Enrico

You can see it here- it's that long half round shape that is just above the fuel tank. It runs from a point just forward of the moving tail plane, to a point below the cockpit. Port side only.

hi Bondoman....I've understood.....but are you sure "port side only"??I've some design of an Mk6 and in there the ducts are present both sides....This image is property of WARPAINT SERIES N°14 and has posted only for modeller discussion.

The cable ducts are fitted on both sides, on the F.3 the cable ducts are the longer ones which extend past the front wing root as shown in the F.6 diagrams at the top of your page.

Also;

The nose mounted cannons of the earlier models were deleted on the F.3

The F.3 is fitted with a dorsal intake that the F.1 & F.1A didn't have
