Pix, an Awesome model. Congratulations on all 4, they are all great. Do you enter competitions or build for your own pleasure? I'm being nosy again, but I have admired your photography almost as much as your models and was wondering which camera you use. I don't own a digital, but I have started a special savings account titled "Digital Camera", only please don't tell my wife. Again, great work, thanks for sharing.

Thanks, Dan, saltydog, Swanny, & Awood23 !

saltydog - I became disabled ten years ago, which was when I re-entered building, so I don't work anymore. For my photos, I use two 16" x 22" sheets of matt board (for matting photos). If I need a larger surface, I have more sheets that are 44" x 32". The matt board will scatter the light without reflecting it. I light the subject with either one or two 100W G.E. "Reveal" bulbs, that don't have the yellow tint of regular incandescent bulbs. These are mounted on boom stands, so I can put the light just where I want it. Its an affordable, mobile setup.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone !

do you have a job?Tongue [:P]Laugh [(-D] great model pix. good work with the camera as well. all the models that ive viewed of yours are excellent. keep sharin' and ill keep starin'. hey, is that a box painted white with a florescent light mounted in the top (im refering to where you photograph your models). im thinking about building a box large enough to accomodate the photography of my pitiful subjects. i was thinking of either painting the inside white, or paint some kind of air strip type background for my photo shoots. how bout' some input. thanks. later.

Thank you so much, Woody, upnorth, T-34, Keyworth, & fightinjoe !

After this camo job, its going to be tough to find one that interests me enough to build my next kit. And if I ever do another "production line" build, the kits will all be the same !

Thanks again for your comments !

Ju 87G-2 HOT off the "production line"
Posted by Anonymous on Saturday, February 14, 2004 1:27 PM
I managed to get my Hasegawa Ju 87G-2 finished today. Its the 1/48 kit, with an Eduard PE detail set. The markings are for Hans Rudel's bird, in winter camo. Rudel flew more combat missions than any pilot who ever lived. His record of tanks & ships destroyed is unmatched. The camo is Model Master enamel (RLM 70 Black Green & RLM 71 Dark Green over RLM 65 Bright Blue). I then oversprayed it freehand with Model Master flat white.

This is the fourth & final plane of my "production line" (4 kits built at once). Hope you like it, and thanks for letting me share it with you !
