Fresh sprue stretched, using plastic from that Azur NiD52 I had built, seems to work out nicely. Picture "" with something for scale...

A few spots that would strike it from the "contest worthy" category, and the green is a little lighter than I was hoping for, but hey, the markings are made up as well, soo... [whistle] This one was an enjoyable build.

Vance, that little guy turned out really good.  Those Russian slogans on the sides really add to an aircraft that is full of character - nice work! Yes

Jack

Thanks Jack. Yes, once I started digging around the spare decals, I knew i had to add that Cyrillic writing, accurate or not!

Very nice Vance. The rigging looks fantastic. Little details such as exhaust and the guns really set it off!

Thanks again gents!

Nathan - Yes, I'm actually quite pleased with the rigging considering it's my first attempt

Goose - considering how narrow those wheels are, and how rough Soviet airbases could have been, I imagine rollovers were fairly routine

A Polikarpov is always good! I like the paint scheme, looks plausible.

Has to look plausible for the "Liberation " of repressed peoples photos in PravdaWhistling
Looking forward to your next Soviet build, Comrade Vance !Big Smile
