Nice work by your builders, MM.   There's an actual, demilitarized Tu-95 for sale on Ebay..  for 5 million.

Dre, thanks for your kind comments. What do you mean by "demilitarized"? If it still can fly then sure it can carry bombs. Is there any Tu-95 in U.S. aircraft museums?. If not then some museums might be interested in getting one.

USMC6094, thanks for your kind words.

MM, I can only assume that the seller has removed the mission-specific equipment, whatever defensive armaments and mil-spec radios.   I don't know if it still flies as one engine is on the ground.

While I'd love to see more Russian stuff in US museums, I don't think that they're going to drop that kind of money on this when they can spend it on domestic aircraft restoration and acquisition and facilities upkeep.

Great-looking builds! I remember reading somewhere that those engine/propeller combinations were so loud and noisy that even the US escort aircraft stayed a good distance away.

Dre, the equipment can be added and the engine can be repaired, but the cold war has gone and the plane is now obsolete. There are so many aircraft museums in the US, there must be some that have this exotic bomber in possession.

Devil Dawg, thanks for your kind words and funny story about the engine noise.
