Just finished, may or may not do decals. Sometimes I get to where the airframe is enough. I don't necessarily care about being absolutely correct in depiction, sometimes I even make up color schemes on the fly. This was a minimalist kit, I gave it that treatment...
I think the next project will be aircraft and colorations of the 78th (as I reverse my accuracy stance). P-38, two P-47's and a P-51, all in 1/48.
That's cool. I never knew AMT had aircraft kits from back in the sixties until Rd2 started releasing them.
There's three others in the series, I think they're worth a look.
I have that one in the stash and might do it and the old Hawk F8F-2 for the USMC GB coming up.
I like the minimalist look, though it sure would look good with "Marines" on her flanks
