Yeah, the mold was purchased by Monogram in the 70's, and is still here since they merged with Revell in the 80's.

I did not know that the mold was from another brand called Aurora.  I've never heard of them.  I'm always learning something new!  Thank you for the info/knowledge.

Ah, the old Aurora mold! It's a fun build. Not excessive with the parts count.

Here is what I have so far after an hour or so of reading and deciphering the instruction manual.  My next step is to join the fuesalage together.  I have noticed that there are some fit issues as well as flash, then again I do understand that this particular kit is somewhat older.

To my fellow forum members,

As many of you know now, I've been absent here on the airplane thread.  Not because I lack a build, it's due to the fact that I'm assembling a AH-64 Apache Helicopter.  If your interested in this particular project, please go to the helicopter thread for your enjoyment.

Due to my ignorance in helicopters, I've assembled the A-64 pieces backwards, upsidedown, and any other configuration in that you can think of that is not the proper way.  I did correct any issues, I did my research and yet, I still have some difficulty with my Apache build.

Mrs. Toshi said that it's due to my Japanese ancestry, we read backwards hence, my issues plus the fact that I'm a male, makes things worst by a factor of 100!  LOL!

I currently am waiting on 2 bottles a Model Master Olive Drab via eBay as I'm currently out of this particular color.  Foolish planning on my part.  I expected the delivery of such today, unfortunately this was not the case, maybe it will arrive tomorrow, I hope.  Then I can at the very least airbrush, clean up, and make any last minute adjustments on the A-64.

Until that time, Mrs. Toshi did not want me to go into a situation of depression, so she took me to Michaels and surprised me with a A-7A Corsair II.  I've never built one so this will be a very interesting endevour.  Until my completion of my Apache build, please view my Corsair II for your pleasure, as long as I don't glue things on backwards!  LOL!  So says Mrs. Toshi!
