Added the decals.Due to the corrugated surface I had to use Solvaset both under and on top of the decals to ensure adhesion. As you can see from the damaged Q,moving the decals are not recommended.I will touch it up with semi gloss black when dry.  The instructions clearly indicate that the Swastika spanned the vertical stab and rudder.I will cut the decal after the Solvaset does its work.

Tojo72

A very interesting subject,any 1/48 paratroopers available ?

The original Promodeler release came with four Falschirmjager figures in jump gear.

Applied vthe decals to the lower wing. The Solvaset really makes them snuggle down after a few applications.

Got the engines together and rusted the nose engine's exhaust pipes with Testors Burnt metal.Dirtied up the yellow cowlings because those engines liked to spray oil a lot!

Mounted up the engines.Fit was very good and the exhaust pipes hugged the fuselage perfectly.

I decided to delete the gunners station and cover it with a styrene disc.Since I did not have any more red cross decals,I painted the disc red,let it dry overnight, cut out and applied masking tape strips and airbrushed it flat white.i like the clean look!

Great looking plane! I saw one of these fly at Oshgosh one year.  That thing could turn on a dime and I was shocked at how slow it could fly.  The pilot did loops around the length of the runway

The large surface area of the wings makes for a stable airframe!

I used 2lb test fishing line darkened with a sharpie for the aerial wire.I first drilled a micro hole in the vertical stab and usedCA to fix the line in place.I then pulled it tight around the antenna and tied it off with one of my 3rd hand tools.after the CA cured I trimmed it off.May be a bit hard to see in the photo.

Well I think I will call her done!Nice kit but the fit of the top was so poor thay I had to putty the gaps.Precludes displaying the nicely detailed interior.I really like the paint scheme I chose and it is a good addition to my model collection. Now I have to find room to display this monster! It is a nice morning suitable for outdoor photography.
