On The Bench: Revell 1/48 B-25 Mitchell
Married to the most caring, loving, understanding, and beautiful wife in the world. Mrs. Toshi
Painted the underside light blue.Used 3/4 of a jar of Tamiya paint(The new smaller jar).Covered well.
Thanks! It is going well.
I love this project and you're making an outstanding go of it. The JU 52 is on my to do list for sure. I hope mine comes out half as good as yours.
Yes it will be an issue! Thanks!May have to make it a ceiling hanger!
Goodluck trying to find parking space for that. lol. Looking good by the way.
No bucks, no Buck Rogers
Wow!Iron Anne sure has a large surface area!I had to add paint to the color cup more often than normal for sure!
Taped up the canopy(took a while),installed it and taped up the windows.Getting ready to primer and paint.(Love to crank up the airbrush!)
The yes I had to fill the cracks with filler. It is a great big plane, the wing span almost equals my 1/48 B-24!
"Can you fly this plane and land it?...Surely you can't be serious....I am serious, and don't call me Shirley"
The leading edge of both wings required some filler.
The bottom fuselage section fit fine in the front but a little wonky in the rear.I decided to align and set the rear section first and work my way to the front clamping along the way.Might be a few easily dealt with gaps in a few places. no big deal.
Tacked on the roof, the fit is fairly good but far from perfect. Not sure what to do to fix the gaps without making it impossible to remove the roof to view the interior.I am considering getting ribbed styrene and attaching it to the edges to make the gaps less prominent. What do you guys think?
Thanks guys!Revell really put some effort into this one!
Interior looks great.
Science is the pursiut of knowledge, faith is the pursuit of wisdom. Peace be with you.
On the Tarmac: 1/48 Revell P-38
In the Hanger: A bunch of kits
Closed up the fuselage. Some body work will be necessary in the front.
Yes it seems to be an exceptonal kit.I was really lucky to get it fof 13 bucks when my local Hobbytown shut down.
Very , very good job so far on this interesting subject. Looks like Revell produced a great kit in this one . I'm watching with keen interest and I gotta get me one of these.
Mounted the cockpit and main floor to the fuselage side and added chairs, benches handrail near the door and the gunners ladder.I am impressed how delicate the chairs are molded. Very fine detail.
Thanks!
Thanks!you can tell it is a good kit!
Looking good, off to a great start.
