Guys,
This is my latest finished build. Bought off Ebay for $20. Kit decals disintegrated with mold, so I used generic and scrounged Superscale replacements. Had to bath the styrene in 50/50 bleach bath to get rid of the mold smell before starting.
There is artistic license here in the numbering. "Where Eagles Dare" is one of my favorites of all time, and I always wanted to approximate the JU-52 from the movie. Tamiya Flat White, and Black Green for the camo. Primed first with MM flat white enamel. The excellent corrugated mouldings made the decals difficult.
The white yellowed some when I brushed on Future which surprised me as I allowed many days for paint curing. I don't know if you can see it. Then decals sealed with future, then with MM flat laquer and MM steel for chipping, and Grumbacher ivory black oil paint wash.
This is a great kit if you can get one in 1/48th. You will likely need A/M decals. The Eduard mask set was used. I may need to do some tiny clean up here and there. I also painted the wheels white, when I think they were black. The few photos available are hard to see. The props are just pushed in and not glued, until I decide how I'm going to hang this. I'm seriously running out of room.
