Matchbox's 1/72 Henschel He-126
Posted by WirbelWind106 on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 7:25 AM

Well, this is my first forum build and I will be building Matchbox's 1/72 Henschel He-126, which, to my suprise, includes a nice swivel stand. The kit comes with two marking options. One is for an He-126 in North Africa, the other is on the Eastern Front. Not sure which one I will do though.

The box looks really nice, with a painting of the He-126 on the Eastern Front

The two decal options. On the top is an He-126 from Aufklärnsgruppen 21 in Russia, 1942, and the other is from Aufklärnsgruppen 14, in North Africa, 1941. As you can see, they have moulded the kit in two colors, and some nice colors at that.

Always liked the look of a parasol-winged aircraft. Hope it's coming along nicely.

Looks like a very cool subject indeed.  I have never built a Matchbox kit and i'm interested to hear your opinion of it.
