Beautiful job ! I really like this model, so much so that I wanna build one even though I'm not into german stuff. I wish Tamiya would come up with a Piper Super Cub of this quality.

For the most part I find Tamiya kits to go together really well. I have built several F-14s from HB, Hasegawa, Revell, Testors/Italeri but the Tamiya Tomcat was simply a pleasure to build having parts fitting like a glove and details were above the others.

Both the Storch and base are stunners! Super job dog. Toast

You really knocked this one out in a hurry. Super nice looking build. I think it's really cool to get these out of the ordinary builds posted. It adds some variety to the kits we always see. Well done, Sir!!

Thanks guys, like I said, not much into recon stuff, but it was certainly a fun build none the less, particularly trying to weather the desert camo scheme. At least it has one machine gun sticking out the back!....

Excellent job on a cool kit. I've been eyeing this kit for a while. Saw a real one at Dayton. Innovative craft and you certainly did it justice. Always enjoy your fine work.

Thanks Max. I love that museum. It's only about 4 hours away me. I want to go see the Memphis Belle someday..

Another great one Joe. It is nice to see you tackle one outside of your norm. No change in the finish though. Beautiful

Hey Joe, I haven't checked in on one of your builds in far too long. And what a doozie to drop in on. You have certainly performed your usual outstanding skills to it. Your Storch is an excellent and interesting subject. That kit has definitely peaked my interest. Thank You for sharing this magnificent build with us.

Cheers, Joe
