Thanks Trey. AMG does do the full range in 48th, i know a couple of the guys who commented on this have some. If its anything like this, i can recomend it.

Very nicely done Sir! I really like the early 109's wish they had some decent offerings in 1/48. Its pretty amazing when You consider the 109 started with a British engine (Kestrel) and ended with a British engine, to be fair the last ones were Spanish built tho. Amazing work as always, looks bigger than 1/72!

Now started on some 35th armour. But my next 72nd kit is already waiting to go. Finally geting round to building an Fw 200 Condor, my first German 4 engined build.

Another 72nd scale beauty popped out here Martin. You're a machine dude!

Great build fun to follow along. Enjoy how you set them up at the end always liked that. Off to your other one now.

About 90% of my build are diorama's. And those that are not i still put on a base.

You should be very pleased Bish...wonderful job sir! I really like the fact that you always incorporate a dio base with your builds. Dioramas are what got me very interested into this hobby. Thank you for taking the time to post this build...it was a pleasure watching you construct her.

P.S. - I really love the red tail LOL!

Thanks Chad. No, 72nd is my scale of choice. Though if they ever brought out an early 109 in 32nd i would grab one.

Wrapped this one up by placing it on the base and adding a couple of figures. Another simple dio.

Really pleased with how its turned out, nice kit with some minor issues that are easy to over come. I can deffinetly recomend AMG and this won't be the last i do.

Nice to get some pre war subjects on the shelves. Most of my German aircraft and armour are mid to late war. Before this i had done 2 aircraft from 1940. And next up some armour from the Polish campaign.

The E and F were both produced from 1937 and used in Spain. The Z was already in use by the time of the Polish campaign, and i think was the main 17 is use during the BoB. The P was still is use as a recon aircraft, but i think the older bomber versions were being withdrawn.

The P i have i am doing in markings for the Polish campaign, i'd also like to get their F for a Condor Legion aircraft.

I am surprised RS have not done a 17Z yet, but then most of their kits do seem to be more obscure subjects.

 

I like the fact that RS does the hard to find or obscure kits. Set's you aside from the normal selection of kits. Do you think RS held off on the 17Z because it was the most produced of the 17's?

And looking forward to seeing some of yours.

It was indeed, at least early in the war. Production ended in mid 1940 as it was being replaced by the Ju 88 and its role as a bomber was coming to an end in 1941.  I already have an RS P model but they also do an E with the tail marking i want.

 

 

You are correct. After I read your post about the Do-17 I had to brake out the old aircraft history book and read up on it. The Ju 88 is a impressive aircraft also.

I know the RS P....what tail markings are you speaking of? I would like to look it up and take a peek at it.

I know I have said it to you about 20 times now LOL, but that red tail and paint scheme really make the build pop. I love that red tail. Great job Bish!
