I remember seeing the size of the box that monster came in at the local HS.

They had one built up and hanging from the rafters. That's a big model! Impressive work and detail in your build. Following attentively.

I’m thinking it would take me just about a whole bottle of Model Air RLM 65 to paint that underbelly! Surprise

Yup. Vallejo Model Air for this beast. RLM 70/71 splinter pattern topside, RLM 65 undersurface.

you may want to consider getting some masks from Maketar for insignia and letters. They may do a set for this kit, but I am not sure.

Trumpeter have a B2 in the works I think. If they get it right at both pricepoint against detail then it could affect Airfix sales of what is a very much outdated kit that has issues.

I would love to see Airfix go back and redesign their spitfires, Hurricanes, ME 109 etc and just bring them up to Tiffy and Hellcat standard of detail and fit.

I would also like them to change the plastic for a better standard rather than the soft cheap stuff they use now. It might take the RRP up a bit but it would make a better experience and sturdier kit.

would also love to see 1/24 ME262 and Corsair and maybe they could get a working hinge?

Given the price of Trump's other 24th scale Stuka's i am not sure the 2 are going to compete. And Trump certainly need to get the 24th B right unlike their 32nd kit, the issues in that kit are what have stpped me buying one and i would love to add a 32nd B to my collection.

thanks tojo , pity the decals didn't work out the same , they were old , and they fought me the whole way , that's why they are not on the side of the craft , I woke up the next day and couldn't beleive how bad they had turn out , took me about 4 hours to get them off , was so p&#^*%& off , I forgot to take photo's , sorry guy's . but I am nearly there .

Despite the decals issues, this build is still looking great.

Almost makes me want to pull out the old Monogram kit lol.

I just got this kit as a tip from one of my customers. Are there any tips you can give me after building that beauty of a model.
