Ok after wet sanding for a long time,I have tamed the seams.Wow what a pain!
Extensive putting required

Is that the 1/32, or 1/48?

That was a Pita too!
The fit may be iffy, but you're making it look good!
You're giving me encouragement to get back to my P-38.
Has almost a 22 inch wingspan.
Ok I found the fit of the wings rather iffy.Lots of putty will be required.
Ok
Just remember that you can shim the pieces and fill in the gaps later.
With that many pieces I can see that shimming is going to be necessary.
Yep lots of fun!....Not!
philo426 7 piece wing assembly .might be designed so that the kit fits into the box!

It's an ugly fit. I fought it for a while and used a fair bit of putty. The four piece cowlings are a real treat too.
Retired and living the dream!
Making some good progress, Phil.
And yes, I'm pretty sure you're going to have a lot more seams to fill. It's a Revell trademark of the era lol.
Gettibg the wings together....I foresee more body work
Wet sanded with 400 grit wet and dry sandpaper and seam checker gray reveals that all is well ...nasty seams successfully filled!Gotta love my Bondo Spot Putty!
Fit of the fuselage halves is iffy at best .had to put styrene strip to reinforce the joint.
Thanks!
Those engines sure look great!

Ah, the old Revel Beaufighter in 1/32. I always had an affinity for the Beaufighter, so one (glorious or dark, take your pick) day in 1995, I found myself in a K-Mart in Sugar Land, Texas. I happened to stumble across an aisle of kits on a trip to get mundane things like toothpaste, when I spied a re-release of the Beaufighter. Having never built a Beaufighter previously and not even knowing the kit existed, that big box found itself in my basket - along with some paint and glue, and Revell's 1/32 P-38 plus several Monogram 1/48 warbirds, among them another I'd always loved but never built, a He111. I have not stopped building since.
