I echo the above statements. Looks like just the right amount of weathering for theater use. Very nice.

BK

Thanks Brandon, that's actually what I was going for.  I didn't even fade the OD.

Hi, Joe - Once again, thanks for showing us what a completed model should look like. Very realistic, looks like a war horse that has seen some action, but still well cared for by the crew. A beauty.

Patrick

Thanks Patrick.  Yep, that's what I was going for.

Just speechless really. Im so impressed by this and if I manage half the quality on my own I will be happy. Your weathering, as usual, really nails it to give that illusion of realism.

My 2 kits arrived today from hobbylink. I just need to get the doll decals on their way. Im not sure how available to me the AK colours will be however are they your suggestion for the NMF and aluminium lacquer?

Josh

Thanks Josh.  I'm not impressed with AK Extreme Metals really.  They look great and go down smooth but aren't very durable and take a long time to cure.  I'd go with Alclad which is pretty much bulletproof.

Beautifully done once again, Joe.

You must have a system down because you're consistently amazing in your finishes.

Fantastic finish!  That's a real attractive scheme - the two tone olive and aluminum. Really well done.

Thats great, I'll order some. What is your suggestion for colours as Im not familiar with their range. Aircraft aluminium for the nmf  fuselage? Then a silver of some kind? The aircraft aluminium seems quite chromy in photos atleast and I wonder if it would not contrast well against a silver.

All the prototypes Ive seen are all painted silver.... even photos of one I saw in person so makes it difficult.

The main ones I use are Duraluminum, Aluminum, and Dark Aluminum
