Thanks sickdude!
Aggieman Having built that kit myself, I'll just say you did a fantastic job, especially considering all those firsts you mentioned. Great photographs as well.

Thanks. It truly is a great kit. I'm looking forward to my 1/32 Tamiya Spitfire IXc in my stash. I've had my eye on the Corsair too, but I haven't turned my attention to the Pacific theater yet.
GAF Beautiful work, Hoss! As you can tell by my avatar, I'm a big fan of the blue nosed Mustangs! Gary

Nice! Thanks Gary. I just recently learned about these guys when I read about Operation Bodenplatte last year. What a great scheme.
7474Fantastic job. I’ll have to look to see what paints you used for the wings.
Thanks 74! For the lacquer part of the wings I used Mission Models Silver with Model Master Flat clear lacquer. I used Duraluminum for the ammo bays. Chrome and Model Master semigloss clear lacqer was used for the control surfaces. Base was grey primer and gloss for decals and wash was Tamiya X22.
