Progress is slow due to the photo etched details ..

Instructions are not great...they just depict completed sub assemblies and there are no numbers on the sprues so that slows things down.They do have parts diagrams .

Ok got together the rear gunners station with tractor seat and bag to hold spent shell casings.    

Phil this is going to be a nice build. Like Johnny said, you don't see this one very often

Yes I think it is a somewhat limited run kit.Detail is good,enjoying it  so far!

     Now you have me stumped. Never heard of the bird, much less ever seen one. Is it a High wing aircraft?

Yes they made 50 of them!

 That is one strange looking bird ! Kinda like me with the odd versions of boats and ships.

 I am working in secret to build a German beer tanker for the German layout's river! There are three different types, the regular flat deck looking. Raised Dome type and the Keg Looking type lined, up on deck center. 

    Those large windows and ports just beg for a full interior.

Luckily the windows install from the outside..

Getting the wings together. 

There were pronounced gaps at the wing roots...made styrene fillets and will grind them down when the glue sets.     

Good solution to the gap problem. 

The kit expects you to use a butt joint to mount up the horizontal stabs ...not structurally sound!.So I mounted up a heavy wire to support them.  

So I have a question. Looking at drawings of the thing; the wings are level across between the engines, and have a bit of dihedral from there out. Did that kit get that right?
