Love that movie and own the DVD.I recently bought the Revell 1941 P-40 warhawk model off of Ebay for about $10.

Best scenes:

The opening with Wild Bill smashing coke bottle and gargling it.

The B-17 cockpit with woman in red dress

and the two guys on watch on ferris wheel when after the older guy tells the nerd to shut up,out pops the dummy dressed as the old guy.....bahahaha,then he drops his cigar.

OK, I've looked for the movie on DVD and can't find it. Seems my company only has it on VHS. Flash me those digits, please.
I have two 1941 dvds, if you'd like, I could give it to you if you pay for postage

Big Smile [:D]Big Smile [:D]You are all correct. This one of the funniest movies of it's time. The problem with the critics was that they didn't know it was humor. To me the more out rageous something is the funnier it is. My favorite scene, Kelso barrel rolling the P-40 down Hollywood Blvd. I wish Belushie had lived long enough to make some more good movies like that one. Keep em flying

I watch it as often as I can and I always find something I missed previously. Probably because I was laughing too hard and it slipped my attention. When the wife and I go to the movies we find that most of the time we are the only ones laughing at a joke or prat fall. We are certain that 80% of ALPENA, Mi does not have a sense of humor.

207,

Usually when I'm one of the very few laughing at a movie I get a jab in the ribs from my wife. I can't help it if the joke "went over their heads"! In regard to your favorite quote, my Dad always used to say. "Get up! It's daylight in the swamp!".
