Alright, my P-47D is finally done.
This is the Tamiya 1/48 scale P-47D that I painted as Gabby Gabreski's famous Wolf Pack plane.
I painted it with Tamiya and MM Acryl paints and used the Aero Master Wolf Pack Pt. IV decal set.
This was a challenge to build as it was my first attempt ever at
painting invasion stripes along with the difficult masking needed to
fit the star emblem on the fuselage without the black invasion stripe
showing through. I am very pleased with the results and think this is
my best build yet.
All in all it was a joy to build this kit as Tamiya makes the premier kit of the P-47D without a doubt.
