Thanks!  I've found that prior to starting a large project, it is always a good idea to do something small and fast...clears out the cobwebs, so to speak.  I did modify the canopy, and smash a new one:

That's some fasinating markings!  I'm really interested in AVG history, can you provide any more history on this particular plane? I've never seen a Spit in nationalist Chinese markings - Great looking build.
