everyone's work.  It's like a stroll through an art gallery.

The shear number of kits that you guys can build in a year amazes
me.  If I built that many that fast, they would all look like a ten year
old did them.  Maybe I'll get faster with time :)

99% completed.

My year was busy as well...not so much modeling but I did manage to get this done:

and last but certainly not least, my almost new work room which I absolutly love.

I'm going to try to finish at least 18 next year before my stash gets a chance to outlive me! Happy holidays to all and may we all have a great new year.

 Wow all the builds look so great! It was an off year for me. I have a couple of builds started but health issues kept me from finishing them. I am getting better by the week and I will be posting soon. I would like to thank everyone for their great pics. It's these pics that can keep guys like me going even when they can't! Like I said though I am returning. A few things though:

You know it. I didn't realize how many I'd built until I looked at my pics. I didn't plan to build that many, but hey- no problems! You can't have too many Spitfires.

I'd have to agree, this is a nice thread and there a a lot of well made models on display.  The group builds have helped me increase my number of completed builds, I still have three more models I should finish by the end of the year if I stay focussed.  Always in doubt!  A C-46, a Bobcat, and a Siemens Schuckert SS III.

2. Airfix 1/48 Sea Harrier. Built for the FAA GB-This one was published in FSM!

3. Hasegawa 1/48 F-14A Tomcat. This kit was built as a present to my good friend Eric. It lives in his study in a glass case. I really wish I kept hold of this one............

4. Airfix 1/48 Spitfire Mk.IX. 

5. Airfix 1/48 Hellcat. Built for the FAA GB.

6 Airfix 1/72 RN Lynx Mk.8 Built for the FAA GB.

  WHen did you build that F-14?  I can't believe I missed it!  I suppose it could have really early in the year before I was around.  That is an AWESOME build and base my friend!  Upon which I must bestow the O.T.T.

This is like a Great Scale modelling issue... I wish in a few years my "year in review" can be as good as some of your "months"... awesome quality!  I am particularly impressed with the smaller scales..really inspiring work! Thank you all for sharing :)

Well here are my completed builds for 2007 (I have a couple of additional builds that I won't consider 2007 builds since I have not yet built the display base for them). Pro-Modeler Ju-88A4 1:48       Pro-Modeler Do-217E5 1:48     Pro-Modeler P-38E 1:48     Monogram SA-16 1:72     Sure seems like I built more since I feel like I was nearly always building throughout the year.  Maybe it's those two F-14s that I did that need to be completed with display stands. And for 2008 I already have lined up 5 different P-40s, a Hurricane, a P-61, a P2V7 Neptune, and whatever my Secret Santa sent. Steven

Well, I went ahead and finished those last two builds I referenced in my earlier post.  One is the Italeri 1/48 F-14A and the other is a DML 1/144 F-14A.  My mother-in-law picked up these kits for about 75 cents for both at a garage sale.  I decided pretty early on that I wanted to display these on a wall plaque, which was the hang-up in completing the builds - well, actually the kits were done back in the summer and were just sitting around the work bench while I figured out what the display plaque would look like.  Any way, here they are.

So that gives me 6 builds for the year, about my average.

What a great thread. So many fantastic builds and builders. Ive made some good and generous friends since joining. Ive also built one or two kits.

Looking at that lot, i think i have a problem lol. Too much time on my hands lol and the Armor stuff...err...dont know where they came from..couldnt be me, I build planes..err..honest guv.

Holy cow, Guy...that IS a lot of models. Even the targets look nice. actually the Russian armor piece (a T-something...that's the limit of my knowledge) is pretty darn neat, not to mention realistic.

How do you guys find the time not just to build so many, but so many so NICELY?
