My F-16 is going to be in FSM
Posted by MikeV on Tuesday, February 19, 2008 3:44 PM

Wow! I was shocked! Shock [:O]

I sent Kelly Shaw a photo of my F-16A in Israeli camo as they said they needed pictures for their Reader Gallery.

This is the picture I sent:

I receieved this email a few minutes ago:

Hi Mike,

Thanks for submitting the photo of your Hasegawa 1/48 scale F-16A. The modeling and photography look nice – we’d like to publish it in a future Reader Gallery column.

If possible, could you provide me with your mailing address and your Social Security number (it’s for tax purposes, since you’ll be paid upon publication). Also, when your photo is published, you will receive an advanced copy of the issue.

Mike,

You deserve it. After all you are the F-16 guru. You could have built a B Netz but I bought your B kit from you. Nice Build.

Sweet job Mike. There is no better form of flattery then to have FSM ask you for more pic so they can post your hard work in there magazine. I have an 1/32 Acadamy F-16 with all of the goodies and i also wanted to do it in the same camo colors. They are much more intersting than the typical American grays.

Good looking model, and can't wait to see it in the pages of the magazine!

Good job Mike. Is that the academy kit?

No, it is the Hasegawa 1/48 Tiger Meet kit. I messed up the tail decal and thought an Israeli F-16 would look cool so I built it.

Thanks again everyone.
