I haven't seen them either Brian. Hope it just has something to do with their son keeping them busy Smile [:)]

Last Priest.....I think he was in dire financial straits, but was seeming to be getting out of it. Then....he dropped off.Confused [%-)]

I don't know Pink Chevelle.

But Desert Rat dropped off around XMas.........he was moving (or being deployed) but hasn't resurfaced.

LP and DR were great posters!

Desert Rat's wife came back from Iraq and divorced him. He gave me a PO address and I suspect ended his subscription to FSM and moved somewhere. Bondo the Pirate has a little something to say about him over in another forum; he was Bondo's best buddy these hereabouts.

TLP and Pink Chevelle (they're married (Chris and Tara) and have a son named Aidan) moved down to a city in the Mojave where he had a position in his family business, something to do with metal fabrication . He and she are great folks, I'm a little surprised he doesn't still post, I'm sure they're doing fine.

Yeah, I have missed TLP and PC around here also.  They used to be active regulars and made great contributions to the forum.  Kids have a habit of taking up a lot the parents time and changing their habits.  Hopefully they will be back soon, at least a little bit.

Amen to that, Darwin!  I miss TLP's banter and PC putting him in his place!

We are alive, havent actually moved yet. Still grinding away in the home warranty industry. Just in semi retirement from my hobbies because I am working really long hours, going to school for autocad so I can take that position in souther california, taking care of the family. Plus as mentioned I am in pretty bad financial shape, all three of us in a 550 sq ft 1 bedroom apartment I dont really have room to work on my kits, I am such a worry wort I am deathly afraid to work on them in the living room after he goes to sleep for fear of dropping a blade, jar of paint, even crumbles of putty, not getting them all up and heaven forbid my son getting hurt or sick as a result. I have been pulling out my modeling stuff running my hands over it lately though, I just dont have anything I want to build, I think I need to somehow find myself a good little 1/72 modern jet for cheap and put some work in, I think that is partly my problem, I got deep into a couple really complicated kits that were kicking the crap out of me and my need to build faded. Plus I borrowed an xbox game from a friend a few weeks ago that was full of modern fighters(F-14 through F-22, eurofigher, rafale, su-47 really good stuff) and that really lit that fire for the modern fighters stuff. Unfortunatly not so simple to pad the stash anymore though, this kid is eating me out of house and home, went from 4lbs to 25lbs in no time flat. Frankly I am glad I googled my name this evening though and found this thread, got me thinking I am going to start looking for good sales where I can find a decent modern kit cheap(Please dont tell pink).

No worries though guys, I am here. If you want feel free to shoot me an email some time too

TheLastPriest@gmail.com

In fact let me know and I will email you back a whole lot of pictures of the baby if you are interested.

P.S. Bondo, not sure if you are still making your way down this direction anymore but if so let me know, should get together for dinner some time.

Hey there TLP,

Thanks for the update - it's good to hear that you and the family are well. It's hard to find time to do this stuff when real life takes priority - I know I don't get many opportunities to sit and concentrate on a build as often as I would like.

Take care Smile [:)]

TLP, thanks for updating us on what's going on. I ended up putting down the hobby for almost 20 years when The Game Of Life got in the way. Hope you don't have to wait that long before getting back to it!

So long folks!

Chris,

Nice to hear that life is treating you and the family reasonably well.  Sometimes things get a little thin and tight, but they get better.

Hi Pink and Aiden (TLP too),

Yes, kids have a habit of keeping Mom & Dad pretty busy.  I see he has a few of those pearly white things behind his lips.  They can do wonders on Mom's fingers.  How old is the young man by now?

Hey, TLP, they grow fast! I have no kids of my own, but until I moved to Arizona, I used to watch my friend Steve's kids back in California grow. His oldest just turned twelve last month and is already as tall as his mother.

So where are you moving--Palmdale/Lancaster area?

I didnt know if any of you guys are still around, but i found you all so important in chris (thelastpriest) life that you all need to know we lost thelastpriest last week. He thought the world of all of you and even though he got to the point where he didnt build, kept all of you in his thoughts. Thank you for being a part of the happy times in our life together.
