I guess I'll start at the beginning.  Put me down for an Academy F4F-4 in 1/72.  Got kind of jazzed as I was inventorying the stash and found that somewhere along the way, I'd picked up the Hasegawa double boxing of the Cougar and Tiger.  Now I can do one of each except for the Agcat, and scratchin that one in divine scale just don't sound like fun at the moment.

yeah, just under a month to go. unfortunately ill probably be  a late starter as ive got a skyhawk to finish as a display model in the mean time.

Don't feel bad. You're not the only one who's running way behind. I haven't even closed up the fuselage on my Osprey yet. LOL!!

I'm revved but I have to finish a F-15I Academy. I'm really sick of Academy kits! I hope the Tuumpy F9F-2 is less filling and sanding.

Okay,

Count me in on this Mikey. I'll be doing a F9F-2 Panther in 1/48 scale. Kit is Trumpeter. I may be a late September start but I'll be ready by then.

That would be awesome kermit. im at a total loss for one at this stage. Also my photoshop skills go about as far as putting words on a picture in paint lol

Anyone? if i dont hear anything before 31 July 2010 ill just be changing it. however i would like peoples feedback on this before i do.

I'd like to come on in for this one if September's the start... Dunno with what though.. I've narrowed it to:

1/48 AMT F7F-3 Tigercat

1/48 Monogram F4F-4 Wildcat converted to FM-2 "Mildcat"

1/48 Testor's F8F Bearcat- Blue Angels "Beetlebomb"  (That's the Yellow "0" Bearcat that acted as the "enemy" for their act vice the Yellow SNJ "Zero" of the same name used during the Hellcat period)

1/48 Monogram F6F Hellcat -Dave McCampbell's "Mimsi II"

 tonka:

Mike,

I'd vote for September start,, too much time waiting till January Hmm

Ditto I think the longer build time would be easier on us slow builders too.
