Got a lot of projects on the bench (and sub-bench), most of which are aircraft...I foresee an armor phase coming on here very shortly, though, so I should be able to wrap up the M61A5. Great builds, guys!

I have hit, yet another, snag.  The trigger on my AB is sticking, I tried cleaning it but I have no idea whats wrong.  Till I figure it out... eh.

I really do not want to hand brush this beauty.

Smeagol,

I had the same problem on my single action Badger 200, and mine turned out to be caused by paint thinner getting to the o-ring seal on the air valve.  I think the thinner partially dissolved the o-ring, causing the trigger to stick.  The root cause was me being careless while cleaning; I dunked the front end of the airbrush into a jar of thinner, not realizing that the thinner was flooding the valve.  The fix for this one was to replace the valve assembly.

The other possibility might be paint getting back to the trigger area.  This can happen if the nozzle tip isn't screwed on tight, the teflon(?) o-ring for the tip is broken or missing, or if you are careless like me and tilt the airbrush in such a way that the paint gets out of the cup or jar, and flows on the outside of the airbrush body into the trigger hole/slot.

If you can't find any paint in the trigger area, the air valve might have gone bad and will require replacement.

Smeagoal nice you come back, hope you feel better now Surprise

To paint with brushes is not so dramatic if you paint with enamels, but if you use acrilycs you're 100% right

heres my two recent 72 tanks ,one with acrilycs and one with enamels

[View:/themes/fsm/utility/js-2 Stalin - 02:550:0]

naturally the one painted with enamels are the first, the su-122... the stalin... need another copy to replace in future Sad

Yeah... I did dip it into thinner before and soaked it in simple green many times to clean it out.  Ah well, may as well send away for the airhose for my really expensive AB I got at for 20 because the hose was missing...

If your busted AB is a Badger, you can always send it to them, they will figure out what it wrong with it and fix it for free.

good luck either way.

I'km going to take pics soon, my Magella is close to being finished.  The main coat is almost done.  I just got finished putting a Zeon flag tag on the sides of the tank like the british and commonwelth did in WWI, you know, those stripes along the side.  I used Red black red for zeon

Wow, nice Gogg! I don't think it needs more weathering, but I guess it depends what sort of look you're going for?

So i put no barnacles and no more weathering but "real" weathering being to break *****

so i take some indoor pictures with occasionally pucca gogg at my home for repairs (the owner friend break one of knee joints)

Will take sunlight pictures just as the sun will come out from the permanent cloudy and raining time that by two weeks rules here (at least no snow here Whistling )

Thanx Doctor Toast

Finally weather take a little break and shooting something

That's all for the Gogg, In some way think that making hguc give more fun that MG's because mods are simply to do ,and if something goes wrong you not burn about 50€ of a good kit Embarrassed

Will try to start even the Guntank to add here Stick out tongue

Looks good in the sun.

I like the HG kits too, mostly because they are cheap and i am poor. :P I did pick up the HG Gouf flight type. Looks like a decent kit, although i wont get to it for a while, ive already started think how i could mod it a bit.

I prefer the MG kits because i like the size of them. This year i am going to find an MG Kampfer as the annual gift to myself as i did last year with the Sazabi.

bsy - those outdoor pics are great! Gives you some idea of how big these are supposed to be.

No update for me yet, the spring shows are both at the end of the month, so I've been feverishly working on finishing some other projects for those. Will be back on the M61A5 soon after.

Bsyamato,

Sorry, nothing moving forward over here.  It has been crazy(er) at work for the last month.  I will try to get back on with the Gog and Dom soon.  I promise.  Really.  Whistling

BTW, it is pouring rain, with thunder and lightning, here in Hawai at the moment - very different from our typical sunny weather.  A bunch of main roads are closed on Kauai.  I could have used an amphibious mobile suit to cross the street, as I'm typing this barefoot while my boots and socks dry out.  (Clarification:  I'm typing with my hands, while barefoot, not typing with my bare feet!  Stick out tongue )  But as they say "Lucky we live Hawaii", because the people on the mainland are getting slammed with tornadoes.  If anyone out there in the affected areas is on the forum, please take care.
