Ok, so it's MiG time for me and I'm doing this newish Eduard kit from early 2011
Ahhhh I've walked past that kit several times at a shop not too far from me. Tempted as I do like the look of this one, but just can't bring myself to pay full $ for it considering the number of unbuilt kits I've got right now. Good looking kit though. Are you building it with the orange ID panels??
On the bench: Airfix 1/72 Wildcat; Airfix 1/72 Vampire T11; Airfix 1/72 Fouga Magister
Ok, this MiG is done and I'm really happy with this kit. I'm also glad I forked out for the Brassin wheel gear as they really have some nice resin details and add that little bit extra. For the moment this may be my only entry for this GB.
Here are snaps, enjoy;
Cheers
On the bench: A-4F 1/32 Hasegawa
Just deployed: F6F-5N Hellcat Nightfighter 1/48 Eduard
Up next: A6-E Intruder 1/48 Revell

bsyamato how was the eduard decals? i heard someone complain about
Thank you sir, for your kind words
Actually this is my 3rd Eduard kit and the decals were very good quality. They conform very well to panel lines with Microsol and look great when dry No complaints here!
Casper thats outstanding! I think I can see all the stencils from here! Musta been a chore! Makes me wanna dive into Post WW2 soviet jets now
Nice to hear this
hope soon come back with one of mig progress
I've got a Slovak MIG-29AS that I will try to finish on time for this. Resin goodies should be here this weekend and then ill be starting my first build using AM resin parts. Woohoo
Welcome aboard, Comrade!
BTW, what's the brand and scale?
Holy cow, almost a month since anyone posted in here!
Been on an absolute build steamroller laying into a 1/48 Testors MiG-37 Ferret...so much so that I've barely taken any pictures (and I'm already decaling!). Sorry. Will shoot up what I've got tomorrow after I can upload what I've got. Think I've got a basecoat, camo, and now camo with decals to show.

just last night resurrected the mig-31
It's an Academy kit. MIGA-29AS with the digi camo marking scheme. I started painting the cockpit last night.got a little sidetracked finishing a heavily weathered NuBSG Viper MkVII that I need to post in the Sci Fi section...
Good to see some signs of life back in this GB
Hopefully some WIPs soon
the little update the left pilot consolle fill of devices and added lateral sides to the pilot ip, soon hope to complete the cockpit
Finally had a chance to get some good work done anda take done pictures. I've cut the stubs off the pieces of the Aires resin exhaust nozzles, and finished sanding and prepping for paint. I have pick up some Alclad Stainless Steel and lacquer thinner before I can proceed on these though. I cut the upper fuselage to make room for the Aires resin pit and IP. Finished painting the cockpit, seat, and side walls, and my 5 year old daughter did a burnt umber and white wash to weather it up.she did an excellent job too. I'll be cutting out the avionics bay panels later and remaking the doors using photoetch backings and sheet styrene. I'll have the cockpit in place and hopefully some pics later today. Anyway, here's the pics of the pit area and my little helper. As always, comments, critiques, and suggestions are appreciated. Hopefully this will breathe done life into this thread, hehe. P.S. I would like to thank the guy at Scale Reproductions for being patient with a first-time user of resin by tracking down and ordering all of the sets I'm using for this MIG.
you might want to retake pics of the cockpit, but back up the camera a bit. Your pics are super blurry and I cant make out detail

Now that I'm here, where am I??
Sorry, until I replace my broken digital cameras, I can't get any better on a close up.
hmm. most digital cameras Ive seen comes with a basic editing software built into the program. From there I am able to crop/enlarge pics that I have taken. On some of the cockpit photos I take, I hold the camera back a ways to ensure focusing and avoid flash washout, and then zoom in on the computer. If you hold the camera too close, like on your pics, the camera focuses on background objects.
From the first picture effectively problems seems on close ups, as Owl says try a simply image manager/editor, i use xnview freeware
Right now I'm having to take pics with my wifes cell phone.my camera is completely broke.
Ok, good to have some life breathed back into this GB! Thanks Guys!
Resumed the foxhound finally!!
Placed mode instruments on the cockpit
Feels like not able to complete my build before the end of the GB
Neeeeed to take pics of my completed MiG-37! Pretty crappy weather this weekend...time to set up the photobooth.
Guys don't worry about the end date. Extended indefinitely or at least until some more birds are complete!
Thanx Casper will pay with a good foxhound at least
Can I join the fun with a Hasegawa Fulcrum please. I've been meaning to build anothe Fulcrum for a lot of years.
Tony
I'm just taking it one GB at a time.
Welcome aboard taxtp. Look forward to seeing this one.
Finally some update on the foxhound;
added more instruments and lateral walls on the front cockpit
At the next
