Thanx for comment Tigerman, the kit is complete to "ALL" rivets and panels but is almost impossible to see in the pictures and  the weathering was really hard this time for these toooo little surface details

Manny,  the kit is the ICM ki-27 b version ( the kit also included all the pieces for the A version) changes between the two version are th uncovered gears and back part of the canopy

The Nate looks really nice bsyamato. I like the subtle weathering and the exhaust stains.

Len awesome work on the Emily ,masking the yellow must have been a real pain but it looks great.

Not nuch progress been working a lot of OT lately. I did fit the gear doors in the up position.

The fit was pretty good after I sanded the inner details away,did need to trim the inboard door in the red area

Basic interior color sprayed ,next will be the details

Trey: I'm mostly into RPGs, used to play Dungeons and Dragons but got out of it when it seemed like half the group was always composed of 'problem' players. This year I finished off Mass Effect II, Dragon Age II and Fallout: New Vegas as well as dragging out The Elder Scrolls Morrowind and Oblivion and replaying them. Also I've been playing around with the 30 year old Wizardry I on DOSbox. And the wargame Panzer Korp.

I'll apologize ahead of time - when The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim comes out in early November I doubt I'll be getting very little modeling done while I'm indulging my fantasies about being a crazy bada@@ viking dude!

hey guys thanks for the well wishes.  finger hurts like the dickens butt doesnt seem infected so all good so far.  ive been doing everything else without my dominant digit so far so im sure ill be trying tto work on the model when i get home, the mrs says i got a small package in the mail so hopefully its the tamiya paint i had to order for the zero.

Thanx for comments on exhaust, was nothing particular, i drybrushed using a tamiya standard brush the area with light brown (same of the weathering) and after in the middle of the stain i repeat the same with black

nothing about the outdoors pictures today wind and covered sun ... seems that summer is finished.

If don't get a good sun before next monday i'll place another indoor more effective than other pictures

Bsyamato: You're right, I can't game too much, I get restless and have to move around which is a good excuse for modeling!

Windy and cloudy here today too, looks and feels like autumn. No rush on the photos, take them when you can.

All that's needed is some AA guns to shoot those birds down. Knowing Japanese AA it probably wouldn't work but then again Japanese birds were made of firecrackers.

I did get some major progress done this weekend,the office is a wrap did'nt get too crazy with it as you wo'nt see much of it

buttoned up the fuse and got the wings on now ready for a silver base of ts-30,the fit on these has kits are just spot on no filler needed

After adding the fiddlies I took some pics. Overall, the kit wasn`t horrible but it had lots of trouble spots. It had tons of flash on all the parts and fit wasn`t all that great. If you`re patient and take your time, it can be built into a nice model. Knowing now about all the kit glitches, I`d like to build another one in the not-too-near future mainly because I`m not patient nor did I take my time with it. So, here it is .....

Well, that`s it...started masking the canopies for the "Nell" which made both my hands go numb! Gotta get away from these 1:72 kits, they`re killin` me! Feel free to use whatever picture you want for the front page Cliff. Thanks for looking!

Hey guys, I was able to get quite a bit done tonight even with a bandaged finger.  Got the Zero all painted with IJN Gray-Green, and the fuel tank mounted.  It's all ready for a base coat of future, decals, weathering with Flory wash then another coat of future.  Going to have to brush the future on as I don't have an airbrush.  I'll get some pics tomorrow.

Len great build. Looks you could do a lot more with some better photo shots. Gonna have to get a backdrop or something with better lighteingin. Can tell that took a lot of work. How much time you got in it? I think that would be a cool stat to attatch to all these completions.

Lem: The Emily looks fantastic! You did a heck of a job on that old kit and I love how she came out. Great paint job and I too am amazed at how you got the rigging on the wing-tip floats.

Trey: I can see the Shiden is really coming along- super nice job on the cockpit.

Potchip: Wow, great job on the Fuso! Is she 1/700th? I've got a kit of the IJN CA Nachi which I thought about building for this but haven't built up the courage, I really admire how you guys do all that crazy rigging.

Nice grey/green, and the build is even more impressive as you have been using helicopter instructions.

Hah yea another project I'm working on now, along with my NYS trooper car lol
