Gamera

 Manstein's revenge:

I think Fermis should build a plane in here...

Gee thanks Manny, I can barely keep up with the rate Trey builds and you want to add Fermis too? Dead

...yes...

Hey Guys,

I`m calling the Kikka done. Here`s a few pics....

It was a nice kit over all...nice fit and details. This plane only flew once and was wrecked on the second attempt at flight so weathering was kept to a minimum. Finemolds provided a tailcode decal for a fictional deployment but I decided to portray the prototype after the 1st flight.

Thanks for looking!

Bsyamato looking forward to seeing some pics. I'm moving along with the busa dry fit looks good

The office is very stark but it did have a decent IP another closed canopy build so it really is a non issue anyway

Going gear up with this one so I had to sand the mains so they fit in the wells

and now waiting for glue to dry

Len: She looks fantastic! Absolutly first-rate job. Love the RATO units- I lost the instructions to mine and couldn't figure out where to attach them!

Trey: Nice! Though it looks like the tires may be over-inflated! Funny, they'd mold the wheels too big to fit into the wells, guess they figure everyone would be doing the gear down position.

Trey and Len: Trey thanks for the photo but I was aiming at trying something somewhere in between in size. Something between around 400x400 up to 640x480. Big enough to see detail but small enough not to get the 'photo reformitted to fit the webpage' message. Could you guys each post one and I'll give it a try. I'm going to a few other tricks and see what works out.

The canopy on the Suisei is almost done, not perfect but good enough for me. Due to the time switch though it's too dark to get good natural light when I get home from work most of the time so I'll try to get photos this weekend.

Thanks Cliff glad to hear ya got the canopy sorted,I spray a quick shot of Testors gloss coat before I apply color and it really does a good job of stopping 'creep'. Hope this is the right size for ya

Trey: Thanks! So far it seems to be working!

EVERYONE who's completed a model: Could you please post a photo about the same size as Trey's? I think I've exceeded the data allowed on the roster and can't post any more finished photos. I believe that if I have smaller photos I can use as thumbnails I can post them with a hot link to the pages with the finished photos on them.

BTW: Somehow one of the guys at work broke the 'five' key on this computer. I'll edit and fix the link to Trey's Raiden when I get home.

Bsyamato: Thanks!

I'm not sure, I'm afraid I don't know much about websites. I'm linking the photos off you guys websites so I don't think my own picture account would affect things. It's funny Trey's photos would come up when I edited the roster but would vanish when I would post it.

Obviously it`s Trey`s fault. He`s way over his build limit and the webmaster has had enough!...Wink

Trey: Very cool, really neat looking scheme.

SAR: You're more than welcome! Looking forward to photos.

Trey: Love the different tones you're getting there with the NM, very sharp!

If I may make an announcement: The Real Red Baron's Pearl Harbor GB kicks off today. I have no problem with anyone who wants to do a cross-over and I don't think he does but you might better talk to him about it.

Also, I did post to the trouble-shooting forum about the problem I'm having editing the roster. Cross your fingers we'll get to the bottom of it.

Personally from the quality of the builds here I'm beginning to think we're trying to shove too much coolness in one thread thus causing the forum to freeze up. CoolOops

PS: Oddly, now I'm getting everything to post normally. Huh?
