`Zilla`s Facebook bio says he likes long walks on the beach and Broadway shows so you can`t blame me for mistaking a radioactive glow for flames....Big Smile...my apologies...and remember who called himself a flaming turtle...Stick out tongue

My relationship with Kenji/Kenny is as a friend and not that sort of friend... *

Shhheeeeeeesssssssssshhhhhhhhhhh...............

* Some guy asked Harrison Ford once what was the relationship between Han Solo and Chewbacca and his response was they're friends- and not that sort of friends...

I was politely asked to take down the old avatar. I might dig in my heels if it'd been important but it's not like it's a big deal. No skin off my teeth either way.

Anyone interested in a Chinese subject GB when we get done here???

A chinese subject will be a little poor of original subject, till the latest subject they just get some copy of russian planes and and some italian plane during ww2.

A swedish GB will have more intresting girls planes to show Whistling also they produced tanks as i know

Bsyamato: Yeah, I'm offended by you naked giant mech! At least put a pair of pants on him! Stick out tongue

I was just thinking one from Japanese subjects to Chinese, Stikpusher is already doing a Korean War GB so Korean is aready pretty much done there. There's a great deal of Chinese subjects coming out from Hobbyboss and Trumpeter these days and I don't know about Italy but here in the States a lot of it is really cheap on sale.

Sweden would be interesting too, I've got a couple of Saab jets in my stash.  I like brunettes better than blondes though... Big Smile

Bsyamato: Great, please post some photos of the engine when you get a chance.

And all joking aside the mech is really cool looking. I really like the cut-away design, Did you superdetail it out more or is this built from the box?

thanx guys Toast even if the kit is recent (about 2008/2009) the desing have more than 30 years and as the 90% of my mechs are from the first gundam series.. as the planes and other stuffs i build i prefere old designs Toast

heres the completed gallery about the blue mech

http://s405.photobucket.com/albums/pp139/bsyamato/mg%20gouf%20v2/Finished%20Gouf%20v2/

what's about the turtle soap?

collected something about zero updates

the cockpit after the cut, i forget to get pictures before

the engine primed with black

wings before closing it, the weel wals needed lots of cuts to match with the upper wings, also the upper wings was digged in the wells zone

the kit comes with optional pieces for wheels up version and trying to use these piece for the wheels wells zone

and the cockpit drybrushed with humbrol silver

Asap will mix some clear cote with an apropiate azure green to simulate the real primer

all is that for the night Dead

Well mostly it is, I think the turtles are added just to make it turn green.

Bsyamato: Hey, nice work on the Zero, did the same for the aotake (metallic green) on the Zero. I've used metallic green paint but somehow I think it looks better to paint it aluminum and then spray a translucent blue-green over it.

And super mechs, really like the detail work in the close-ups on the blue model. And nice job on fading and weathering the red one.

I haven't even started my entry for this one and y'all are already a bad influence.

Scored one of these off eBay yesterday...

1/32, with brass armament set.

Not sure if I'll be able to squeeze it in before September, but maybe...

Doogs, you're killing me. LOL Nice score and great subject. I can't wait to see what you do with her. Are you going for home defense markings? (my favorite)

Honestly I have no idea. Japanese aircraft are a near-total blindspot for me. Though I am intrigued by the green blotches over bare metal scheme. Will have to see what my options are when the box arrives.

Once you get the bug you won't be able to stop...I went on a Japanese buying spree and bought all sorts of IJN and IJA kits.

BAHAHA: The corruption of Doogs has begun!!! Devil

I know you're up to your neck in stuff already but when you do get to that Ki-61 I'd love to see how she goes. Don't know if she's quite as good as those other 1/32 kits you built recently but I've heard nothing but rave reviews of the model.

Bsyamato: Ouch, hope you're feeling better soon. Is your Zero one of the Nakajima ones? The paint looks perfect if so. I think the Mitsubishi ones were slightly more greenish though.
