2013 Air America Build

Hi guys/gals. If I weren't so involved with whats already on my plate, I'd join yours too. Air America is a great movie. So anyway, good luck with your GB, I will however be coming in sometimes to see what you all have cooking

Fantastic John! You even have the C-123! I'll be starting with the Pilatus PC-6C/H-2 and the Caribou. Hope to pic up a C-119 and a C-123 as well. This is going to be fun!

Okay , I started to sort out my Air America fleet

There is some preliminary clean up work  done on the S-58T with the fuselage insides sanded smooth and the cobra co. resin pieces cut from the pour blocks and cleaned up

One of the Pilatus PC-6 Porters is more than 50% done but the other one has only had the doors and windows cut out

The C-46 Commando is too far along as is the C-47 but the Bell 204 , 205 and Caribou will be fresh builds.

I'm a big fan of Air America aircraft .

I just posted some pic's of an upcoming build of a C-123K Provider in the Hollywood GB , so if crossovers are okay I can post here as well . I also have plenty of Huey's , Pilatus Porter and H-34/S-58T kits in the stash .

I did start some AA builds about three years ago but I wasn't happy with how the builds came out and I wanted to do better for Air America aircraft . This will be a good opportunity to have another go at building a fleet .

Perhaps I'll start with a Sikorsky S-58T in the official Air America colours

I'll be using the 1/72 Italeri  UH-34 kit with the Cobra Company resin nose and interior update set
