Is that a Weird Science reference you just made?  "The booze hounds return.  What a joke. Hi, girls."  Chet, is it?  Awesome!  I'm gonna go get a nice greasy pork sandwich served in a dirty ashtray now. Big Smile

You had that "what happened yesterday" experience as well? Makes 2 of us! I only had 2 hours of sleep because I had to catch a train... Went to bad at 4:15 AM and had to get up at 6:30 AM... Dead

Sounds like you guys have been having a fun weekend. I can't want to see the models that resulted from this debauchery.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

I am in Carynthia right now (family trip) and I'll stay here for a week.

I managed to take all my modelling stuff with me though, so I'll keep working on my Jug. I even borrowed a notebook from a friend so I have access to the forum.

I'll post pics as soon as I get my bench set up...

Cheers, Clemens

Have yet to purchase my M4.  That will have to wait until after my wife's birthday at the beginning of August.  I think it would be bad form to be buying myself more presents than she'll be receiving.

The model I'm working on now is coming along nicely.  Had a small setback last night but that can't be blamed on alcohol because I wasn't drunk.

I'm not making any promises for tonight though.  Toast

LOL! That's your story and you're sticking to it? I agree with your method I must admit. I still have not yet even made a subject selection...  Hmmmm...

How about an aircraft? We still have no Mustang in this GB...

Just my 2 cents...

BB, Verlinden does do a nice mounteed figure that looks one heck of a lot like that one...

Sparten, I am half tempted to do a recon F-6 Mustang, I have the Accurate kit of that in D-Day markings. In the Draper National Guard Armory in Utah, in a hallway there was a series of paintings depicting the National Guard in combat action. These were large paintings roughly 3 feet tall and 4 to 5 feet wide. one was of a Recon Mustang doing a low level run over the beaches at Normandy, and was so beautifully done. I presume the recon squadron depicted in the painting was a National Guard outfit...

I'd love to see you building a Pony! If it looks only half as good as your Tiger, it's going to be a beautiful model!

Hey the F-6 sounds cool SP. But I bet you have a pile of other subjects in your stash you could build too. It's all cool!

The Churchill is pretty much ready for paint. I spent what little time I did devote to modeling to the Nieuport 17 I"m building for the Great War Aircraft GB and the AH-64 I'm building for the local museum. Sorry, those are on a schedule and I have still about a year or so to finish the Churchill.

BB, you are an instigator, aren't you? ;-)

Gamera, yes my stash has numrous subjects appropriate for a Normandie build, Allied and German. Figures, Aircraft, Armor, Ships...

Sparten, you do have the wheels spinning in my head on that Mustang,  but for something(s) not yet in my stash... you're an instigator as well ;-) I love that painting!!!

But if you do the Milkman, I'll pay you in alcohol.  Indifferent  What are we up to now?  I owe you gin, tonic, and a six- pack.  Name your price!

Fear the Milkman.  FEAR HIM!   (hehe, this is great fun!)

Looking again at this picture is he riding a mule?  Even more hilarious!  MILKMAN RULES!  You know you want to.  Just do it.  It'll be awesome!  Plus you'd have to use all your skills to convert the horse into a mule and create milk containers for it!  I throw down the gauntlent! Cool

A commision build? (YOU ARE REALLY stirring the pot) LOL! But ther Verlinden kit is on a horse,( I think) and my conversion skills for animals are non existant....

BTW, the actor who played "Milkman" is the guy who played Goldfinger ("No Mr.Bond, I expect you to die...")

Bitbite, stop it. You don't want to experience my wrath...

We Austrians can get really enraged sometimes. And that's definitely nothing you want to see.

Stik: Join the dark side. You know you want to... 3 words for you: Build. That. Mustang.

Just kidding. I'll leave the choice to you. Build whatever you want. I'm sure it will be impressive at the end, no matter what it is.

I can't really offer you any alcohol, because that stuff wouldn't be good anymore when it arrives in the states,,, I'd even send you a 6-pack of beer for free... We have some excellent beer here in Austria...

Silence, Mozart!  Devil

Stop whining, stik!  Angry

I will buy you a bottle of booze equivalent to the price you pay for the kit if you will build the Milkman.  Or are you . . . afraid?  Whisper

FEAR THE MILKMAN!  FEAR HIM!

Do you accept?

Austria has no good beer.  Only good wine and music.  Actually, I think the Milkman was from Austria too!  So now he must be built!

Austria has some awesome beer AND wine AND music... That milkman might indeed be from Austria. If he is, i can only second what BB said: FEAR HIM!!! (= don't build him) If he isn't, we don't need him, Not at all (= don't build him either).

I could say something really dumb now (please don't take that serious): I could buy ya GOOD Austrian beer with the same value as the Mustang (40€?)... That would be a huge and heavy package...
