as if i don't have enough i could go for the STUKAS GB as i have a revell D in 1/48 in the stash, definitely the AA GB (like the badge) which will be something modern probably an LAV or SA-9 or 1/72 SA-10 (warwheels) but maybe a ZSU-23/4 or SA-6 and HALFTRACK GB as i have a shelf queen us mortar

someone suggested a CARGO PLANE GB and i have a pair of promodeller JU-52s in the stash and a FIRE/EMT GBand i will be picking up the modern german 1/24 firetruck (a bit out of my comfort zone but it is a truck)

i won't get to any of these until sept after IPMS NATIONALS up the road from my abode. plus two club demos to prep for. not to mention the 7 GBs i'm in now but should get 3 or 4 of those done this month.

And I have 2 of them!  Things that make you go hummmmmm?!

Sounds like your going to be as busy as me wayne. I have decided to put the Halftrack GB back until 1st march, and the Stuka GB won't start until 1st May, so that that should keep my GB's spread out a bit. Of course, it all depends on what GB's other come up with. I am have to put the will power into over drive.

I gave some thought to the Transport GB and thought the only kit I had was the Italeri Me 323, but I really don't have the space for many large builds. Then I was talking to Eagle and he mentioned the Ju 52 and that reminded me that I recently got a DFS 230 kit that I have been looking for about 3 years. So if the time frame is right, I may well build that. I have always wanted to do one of those on Eben Emael.

As for the Duck Hunter badge, after you gave me the idea for the name, I had to do something along those lines.

I hope that fire truck/EMT GB takes off, I don't build those sort of subjects myself, but will be nice to see more none military builds.

Sub, the Cold War GB sounds interesting. I will keep my eyes open for it and hopefully I can squeeze that in.

I was thinking along those line at first, I still have 3 251 AA versions. But I haven't built much German armour the last few years, so this will be a good chance to get some in, so I am going to resist the 2 for 1 offer. There is a 2 month overlap, so if planned right, it should be doable.

Eric, I look forward to seeing that build. I haven't built any of my AFV 251's yet, so will be watching closely.

One of the reasons that I grabbed this kit, aside from the bonus Pak 40, was the one-piece tracks. I think I'd shoot myself first, rather then having to deal with those tiny indy tracks with rubber pads. 

I just hope the fit and instructions are better then the Pak 40. It sits incomplete. 

Right, so you have the /22. I went for the AFV kit for that variant as well. I didn't find those Dragon track links to bad to be honest. A little bit fiddly, but ok once you get used to them.

I take it that's the AFV Pak 40. Was it that bad. I got that kit as well based on some good reviews.

That sounds good for me. Given the current crop of new GB's, it probably a good idea to wait a little while. You can put me down for one for each.

That's right, folks!

The main rule for the Radial Engine GB is dead simple:

You can build whatever you want, as long as it is powered by one or more radial engines. So it could be one of the early shermans, a russian aerosled, a plane or everything else...

I'll build one of said aerosleds, a Catalina for a nice crossover and maybe a Thunderbolt with removed engine cowling.

Well, its a bit soon to be 100% certain, but I will probably build a DFS 230 for the transport and an Fw 190 for the radial. The DFS was on my really wanted list for about 3 years until a couple of months ago and I have always had an idea for a dio for it. So this will be a great chance to do it.

The transport gb will be anything that flys and carries cargo. Planes, Helicopters, Sci-fi, what-ifs they are all welcomed. Airliners that have been converted for cargo for Fed Ex etc are also welcomed.

I have a C-130 Dio that I have been planning, and either a F-4U Corsair or I have a 1/72 Trumpeter Sherman M-4A1.

You heading up the Transport GB?  Count me in.  This is the perfect GB for me to do one of my 2 1/48 Monogram C-47's!!  I can not get enough of those kits!  Built 3 of them as a kid (so you know how they turned out )  I'd buy a hundred of them if I could!

So, when the time comes, put me down for a Mono 1/48 C-47's.

wayne, if I remember right, they mentioned June 1st next year. That's just fine for me, and I am guessing others will be happy with that. A lot of new GB's hitting the boards recently.

Waynec- I thought about it and yes transport helicopter are going to be included.

For those who remember this thread, you may recall I was using it as a feeler for some new GB's. Given the large number of GB's currently running I have been giving these some thoughts. And after the recent GB thread, it seems I am not alone. So after some thought, I have decided to postpone the half Track GB and the OPOS&OH GB until 2015.

I know a few people had said about joining the halftrack GB, but seeing as we have the D-Day GB and Tigerman has mentioned doing a new Armour GB in the new year, there's only so much room and its not right for me to hog all the talent.

Also, Eagle90 and myself have been talking about two armour in Europe GB's which would cover the last year of WW2 and run from the end of the D-Day GB. And I think it would be only right to mark the end of the war in some way.

The Ju 87 GB will still defiantly go ahead starting 1st May. Hopefully this will go some way to help avoid clogging up the GB section to much.

Bish... Great posting, and great ideas... If memory serves, you were the one that helped me figure out the GB senario a couple years ago when I first found this site, When the time comes, I'm in on your "Stuka" GB. She is also one of my favorite aircraft of that time period. I also like the idea of the 100th anav, of the Great War, and would love to do some aircraft of that era. Way out of my comfort zone, but more then willing to jump in.

I agree with Nathan about the "perpetual" GB though. , to me it takes the "Special" out of the build, and also the shortening of the build times to 6 or so months. A new build could always be started with a slight or different twist to it.
