I’m done with the Hasegawa 1/200 British Airways 747. I’m not really happy with it, but it is what it is. The Decal Draw decals were very thin, which snuggle down great, however they tear apart easily. This is OK if your applying insignias, but long decals of windows and doors (admittedly in 3 sections) is a little harder and tore getting them off the backing.
Now for the Airfix 1/144 727. I’m going to use the Lufthansa livery from the kit. It’s moving along quickly.
Airfix had the wing fences on the trailing edge of the wing instead of the leading edge so I needed to do some surgery.
The bottom half of the design will be Alclad Aircraft Aluminum. It’s an easy livery design so this shouldn’t cause too much of a hassle, this will be nice with 2 weeks left in the GB.
