Still here too.  I just had a hard time with getting the flight deck to fit on the Enterprise. Had a misalignment that really gave me heck.  Funny, I built the Tamiya Hornet many years ago and it just fell together, but this Enterprise is a whole different animal.  It has me questioning Tamiya's recent quality.  But its on, now I can start working on this island. I am still amazed on how fine the detail is on this 3D printed part.

Thanks Duke, the plumbing is fixed and tonight I hope to put my workbench back in order and get back to detailing the 3D printed island.

Take care of business Scott. I also managed to get a little done on my Baku. Only clearcoated the deck for decals so not enough to warrent pics. Once I get the decals done, I'll post something.

Take your time and get back to it when you can we'll wait for you.

Looking forward to seeing more from everyone.

I started back up this weekend, got some good build moojo going, then the sewer backed up in the workshop, so now I'm off line until I get things cleaned up.  I hope all are understanding if I don't post any picsWhistling

No worries Gents. A few are in the same Boat so to speak so this is now an open ended GB so no fears.....Cheers Mark

Glad to hear that you are leaving the light on of most of us, I don't think I wil be able to get back to my build until after the holidays, just too much going on.

Don't feel bad, Scott. Between this, that, and the dreaded other thing, I've pretty much not even touched the Lex. Feeling rather bummed about it, too. :(

struggling with these planes from Hasegawa. I guess because I'm used to making the 1/350 jets. Anyway waiting on parts from Shapeways.

Hey Mark, thanks for checking up on us stragglers.  I have been following your Kongo build and get motiviated to work on the PE on this build.  I am currently building a TBD for the New Years GB and will be paiting my Enterprise airwing when I paint the TBD.  So there is progress on the horizon.

The island is going to look really good.  I have been not been able to work on the Enterprise for over a week since I have been busy on a home improvement project. Hope to get back on it tonight.

Nice-looking island structure, scott.  I checked Shapeways website and see that they have these for Hornet and Yorktown too.  Should be an improvement.

Working on the Enterprise today and I got a tree for the Hornet kit in my Enterprise box that has the stern gun galleries missing. This may have been a mixed blessing. Now I need to figure out how to make these and fill in the flightdeck to accept my scratchbuilt galleries.

Getting much of the lower PE attached.

The fit between the flight deck has some issues.

But I did get in my island from Shapeways and am in compete awe with it.

I know what you mean about PB.  I jsut opened a Flikr account, hope is it works better than PB.

I did take the Enterprise back out and its back on the bench.  I started laying out the railings on the stern.  Hope to have some pics updated soon.

Hope to see it Raider, but Photobucket seems to have a problem with my IP and acount at the moment.  Man, its time to find a new photo host site.

As far as my Enterprise, it seems to be staying in the box until after the first of the year.

Island needs more work. This build is slowing me down.

Coming along very well.  The Wasp is such a interesting subject.
