I never hide any issues from WIP.  I have the front end glued with extra thick CA as that's where some issues occurred.  It's definitely my fault.  The rest of the nose was taped with Tamiya tape as I'm not going to glue that area together.

I will leave to area open as that's where I will display the 7.7mm Browning Machine Guns will be displayed.

Toshi, still with all those subassemblies interacting together, its amazing how well everything fits up.

I got some more painting to simulate the wood interior last night.

These all look great guys!!!

I'm just going to throw out a hearty 'great work everyone' instead of taking the chance of missing someone!

Thanks scottrc.  I'm shocked by how everything went together.  The subsssemblies was intense at best.  But due to Tamiya's fantastic engineering, it all went well together.

Your start looks great, I'm looking forward to the rest of the build.

Definitely getting hard to keep up with all the progress going on!

MC--looking good; will be interested to see how the chipping goes

Bish--thanks for the link; I've kind of wanted to do something like that for B-17's and crew.  This should be helpful

Toshi--it just keeps on and on looking good

scottrc--lot of parts there; I'm always befuddled and often defeated by the struts and biplane wing alignments; I hope to learn a good technique from watching your build.

And some small progress on the Hampden

rear fuselage assembled:

And--the elevator goes up

and the elevator goes down

No problem check. And i am amazed you got that tail together and the elevator still moves. I don't think i achieved that on any of my old Airfix kits.

Thanks, Bish.

Test-fitting shows already that the ailerons won't be moving. They leave a huge gap between the wing and the aileron itself--so I'll just be gluing them in place.

But more about that when I get that far.

Looking very good.  Nice work on the stabilizers.

The Frog Tapes have removed and I cleaned up the seams with 1200 grit sandpaper.  Everything looks good so far.
