These photos depict the Me bf109 G6 with the seams all taken care of.  As you’ve all seen in previous photos, very little if not no putty was used.  I like Tamiya White putty because it’s Lacquer based and dries quickly.  It also sands easy.  If thinning out is needed then a little Lacquer is all you need to add.  I have yet to add Lacquer as I’m very satisfied and happy with it‘s concistency.  Every modeler has their preference on what we like to use, this is what I enjoy working with and I’d figure that’s what counts in a hobby.  Having fun and enjoying your build time and I’m having one helluva time!  lol!

The horizontal and vertical stabilizers were adjusted a tad bit to show that it can move on this kit.  Just a little pose.  lol!  It makes it look interesting in my humble opinion.  I did it because I thought it looked cool.  Right now I’m taking a break from the bench to post this and then I’ll be working on the next step of which is the main wing assembly.  I’m get to work all day on this kit as my grandson Ezra is in Columbus, Ohio with his other grandparents.  So this is a nice break from having to watch him although Mrs. Toshi and I miss him so much.

Wow some great work going on guys!!! I MIGHT be in on this one but not going to commit to anything yet. Still have others I want to finish. Just bought Hase 1/32 Bf-109E Ádolf Galland' recently and IF I do, it will be that one.

No worries simpilot34, you will be welcome to join if you decide to!

Getting ready to close “Gustav” up.  I’m removing the center engine cowling support bar so that I can show off the engine as a whole.  I’m going to expose the entire engine, that way when Mrs. Toshi and I view the final product we can enjoy the hard work I put into it.

Thank you GB Forum Members for following this build and all of the past builds not to exclude any future builds In the aircraft section.  I am so greatfull and humbled that I have so many GB friends following my builds.

hey flickr is back up!! this are my completed pic of my Hasegawa 1/48th scale Me-109G6. the entire plane was painted with model masters enamels and its right out the box no extras and thank you Andy for letting me be part of this awesome GB!

That is a beautiful build.  The camoflauge mottle is stellar!!!  Especially the splinter camoflauge, that’s my favorite.  I’ll be using your build crown rn7 as a reference to my build.

John that’s one colorful FW ! Fine job.

toshi break lines too wow that’s a detailed kit

well my G6 is complete but can’t post pic because flickr isn’t working lol since Sunday

This kit is amazing.  Just the 1/32 Trumpeters kits are great.  I’ve purchased and built several 1/32 Trumpeters kits.  It’s all about detail.  Very cool!

The engine is looking really good Toshi! Always a nice touch to drill out the exhaust...great work so far!

Thank you, rooster513!  Yes, drilling out the exhaust is a nice touch.  It was very tedious and fun.  Thank you for having me join the Group Build.

Nick, sweet looking Gustav. Yes

I know it's probably just digital/lighting, but I like the 'bluish' tint on the overall finish.

Jack
