mach71 I would like to see the Thunderjet.
Maybe I can do more than one model? :)

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.” - John 3:16-17
stikpusher Gamera Thanks, I had no idea about the 10th Mountain figures! I've got a set in my stash, guess I need to use them as the WWII figures they were intended... The 10th Mountain figures are wearing a very unique Cold Weather uniform with the Anorak, Mountain Trousers, and Shoe Pacs. It was pretty much mostly worn by 10th Mountain Division and 1st Special Service Force (The Devils Brigade) troops in combat in Italy. Possibly by the 1SSF guys during their Aleutians service as well.

Thanks!!! I will keep that in mind whenever I finally get around to using them.
Gary: Thanks! Don't need anything else for the stash right now but a MiG-15 is intriging.

Missed this somehow. I wanna jump on this wagon! Got a couple Tamiya MiG-15s, Monogram F-80,86, Skyraider, MiG-15..........etc. When the time comes I'll hold a lottery with my stash and see what comes to the top.
KJV?? I'm a NASB man myself! ;)
Chris Christenson
Good to have you, man! I vote Skyraider or F-80...
(KJV is best! )
Gamera: I got the figure sets! Thanks! ...Now, how to paint the figures well.......
I'll commit to the 1:48 F94A from Hobbycraft for something a little off the beaten path.
Mach 1:
That’s great! The more different types of models, the better!

Here’s a few suggestions for anyone undecided:
M-36 Jackson/ SU-100
M-24 Chaffee/ Cromwell
F2H Banshee/ F7F Tigercat /Gloster Meteor/
Another one would be the Fairchild C-119 Flying Boxcar. Italeri reboxed a really fine kit in 1/72.
It comes with the R-4360s and the later R-3350s. And related cowlings. Four bladed and three bladed props, both Hams.
If you are interested in the Indochina war fought by the CIA, the kit has a really good set of markings for that too.
I gave my copy to KeyDa1 as I had no place to store the build.
My boss at SOM flew them out of K-8 I think during the conflict.
Modeling is an excuse to buy books.
I'm currently bidding on the Tamiya 1/48 Mig-15 bis. I'm in if I win! It will look sweet sitting next to my F-86F Jabara mount.
Thanks,
John
You will remember our friend Hans Von Hammer, who had as many fathers and uncles in the USAF as he had wives. Four each, but I digress.
His uncle I think 'John", no wait that was the P-39 pilot at Henderson Field.
His uncle "Jim" was the pilot of the famous Sabre "The Huff" that Monogram, Hasegawa, Academy and gosh knows who else marketed.
John, glad to see you got the sets and in good condition!
Not sure what I'll do. I did pick-up an old Aeromaster sheet for Korean War F-51Ds though so it's an option.
F-51s are certainly welcome!
So, I’ll probably set up the GB page in December and have it start in January. It will run all year.
Here’s a reminder:
Please join when the main page goes up in December! :)
I'm in, still not totally sure what I'll build but I'm in. Still leaning toward the F-51. Might pick up a M26 or M46 by Christmas though.
I'm hoping to join also, as one group build I am in should be over. I try not to join more than two at a time. Just can't keep up the pace for anything more!
I have the usual Monogram Sabre, including the Sabre / Mig kit. But I'm leaning towards the Trumpeter F9F-2, and the Monogram F9F-5P Of course, I also have some Corsairs...
Decisions, decisions!
Well, good choices, both of you; and you guys can always do more than one model if you feel up to it!
Interested .T.would give me an excuse to finish my hasegawa F4U 5N...
On the Bench: Too Much
I think I may be in with a ProModeler F-84.
Chad
God, Family, Models...
At the plate: 1/48 Airfix Bf109 & 1/35 Tamiya Famo
On deck: Who knows!
MM: Thunderjet, right? I have the ProModeler kit in the stash, too! Welcome!
cbaltrin: A Corsair will work nicely!
A few days till the main page goes up...
Cool, looking forward to it. My Sword 1/72 Ad-4w skyraider is waiting.
Cheers,
Greg
- yat yas!
I want to join in!
I wish to build the tank match up at the beginning of the conflict.
M24 Chaffee verses T34 85.
your shipmate,
Ziggy

Gregbbear and Sigep Ziggy: I already put you guys on the roster.
Everyone else: Please reconfirm your entries on the main page. Thx.
