That's a fun kit.  Unfortunately mine bit the dust in a move.  I've got you on the list.

Charles,

Got your build updated.

Going to go ahead and throw my hat into the ring.  My first build will be a 1/72 Hasegawa Mi-24 Hind D I started some 12 years ago.  Markings will be the 51st Helicopter Regiment Aerobatic Display Team of the Czech AF.

Alright guys, got you on the list.  This is an auspicisious start indeed, although I was hoping Bish would step out of his comfort zone and do a bomb laden Spit.Big Smile

You have more chance of me standing on my head in a Tu-Tu singing La Marseillaise.

I'd pay good money to see that. How about the rest of you?

I'd even print and sell the tickets for that show.  Would be a world wide event.   GRIN.

May join in with a crossover, depends on what falls out of the sleigh on the Santa GB.

I'd like to jump in with a couple of builds. First will be Revell's 1/48 F-15E and next will be Accurate Minatures 1/48 SBD-3. The SDB is the Coral Sea boxing so I'll probably get to it around April closer to the anniversary of the battle.

I've never done this before, but put me down for the Academy 1/72 A-37B.

Banthafodder,

Group builds are easy peasy, exception maybe the Weekend GB if you plan poorly.  I'm honored to have this little group build be your first.  Your A-37 is most welcome.  Any idea on the markings?

Probably USAF, I haven't really done a Vietnam era camo scheme before, so this should be interesting.  I hope I don't regret it lol.

Hey lewbud - I'd like to change my entry to the 1/48 Zvezda MI-24 V/VP Hind if you'll allow it. (Not the Kawasaki Stick out tongue )

Thanks,

John

Hi Lewbud,

Count me in! Novo Vultee Vengance 1/72 RAAF, built as a cross over with another great GB!

Keavdog, now I really want to see what the close air support Kawasaki will look like...

lostagain,

Got you on the list amigo!

Keavdog,

Made the change.  Should be an interesting build.  If you need any pics of the real deal, there's two at the Lancaster, TX Municipal airport (one's flyable, the other is now a gate guard due to a negligent truck driver).  I've got a bunch of detail pics on my fotki page if you're interested.  Btw, have you seen these?  I almost ordered a set and Zvezda Hind so I could use them, but I figured I only have shelfspace for the two divine scale Hinds I have right now.

That Quinta Studios stuff is amazing quality.  Picked up a set for my Su-25 build.  Even the glass in the instruments is faithfully reproduced.

I'd like to join! I've got a 1/48 Accurate Miniatures A-36 Apache that is barely started from several years ago (just some paint on an after-market cockpit set). I'm looking to finally spending some time at the work bench.

I'll join the fray with something a little different.  Heller's 1/72 Breguet 693.

I guess I'll have to join in this one, looks like it's going to very active.  I'm thinking an LF resin Curtiss A-18 in 1/72.
