My build for this coincides with the D-day build, a Schimminwagen, and possibly an M10 and a firefly VC.

Oh yeah, remember everybody, we are starting this GB this weekend! Scubaboy, thats fine if you need to start later, the finish date is sept 11. Anybody want to change any of the rules? I don't want to change any of the rules after June 6, so if you want to change something, tell us now... Thanks

Ok, I'm in for sure....but I can't start right away. What I'm thinking of doing is a downed P-47, with a German half track with guys jumping out going to investigate and a Wirblewind driving down a road on the other side of the hedgerow. By the way, it's all in 1/72 scale!

Can't make a commitment yet, but it's looking likely now. Still have a bunch of other stuff to finish up Big Smile [:D]

Yeah I am going to try to keep it straight out of the box (yeah right) then maybe give it to a buddy of mine cause tigers are his favorite. [:0]

Not required, but it would be great as always. You can participate without photos, but tell us what your building and try to get a finished pic if you can. If there's no way to do it than thats fine, but if it is possible then post them. So are you in zokissima?

Sounds good. Are there photos required? I don't have a digi cam, so posting pics for me is pretty difficult.

Start June 6th End September 11

You can model anything that was used from June 6th- July 30th 1944.

sorry guys, too lazy to read the other posts. When is the start and end date to this build?
I've been torn between this and the D-Day build, but I don't want to buy another kit (too many unbuilt ones lying around), and I'd like to finaly model a Panther. Correct me if I'm wrong please, but didn't the 12th SS panzer division have Panther's in Normandy?
I was watching a special last night on the History Channel, and they had a whole bunch of stuff on D-Day and Normandy.

I like the idea of the hedgerow for the badge, but invasion stripes would also be terrific!

I'm torn between a p47 or a bunker scene

Fighting in the Falaise Gap and Operation Cobra was on July 24, but it continued even to July 30. ...................... But please everyone, tell me what you think of me including this. Thanks.

No problem with 30 July ....
