Duke Maddog - I hope so to Smile [:)]

ygmodeler4 - it is an Academy kit.

gdarwin - for the sherman I am going to paint them on, I usally paint them off, but that is when I am doing German armour, 40+ wheels, the sherman has big ones and will be easy to access.

All - Thanks for the comments...

EDIT:

After some sanding I was able to get the hull's together YAAAAA!!, and they look very good, nice and tight, no pic's now, I might post some later...

EDIT#2: O.k. I have put the hull halfs together and now I have some pic's, enjoy!

Thanks I used Tamiyas Flat flesh (XF-15) to lighten up the the green and brown colors. From the photos the camo looks not as dark so I just mixed in XF-15 and it did a good job of lighten it up.

O.k. guys, here is my entry into this GB. It is Academy's 1/35 IDF M-51 Super Sherman, I think it came out o.k. but I am going to stay with German armour.

BTW: The pic's make it look glossy but it is just the flash (or because I took the pic's while the dullcote was drying!), also, the pic's for some reason make the tank look orangey, but picture it with desert yellow, what it really is, so here are the pic's...

As always, any and all comments are welcome!

I just sprayed the first thin coat of Future and will be ready to add the decals by Tuesday. I like to give it another coat and let is cure for another 24 hours. Will have some pics posted soon. So far this build has not given alot of problems. I am impressed with Eduard's Mirage lllCJ and recommend it.

Actually its Friday and I am currenly applying the decals. They are really going on nice, no problems yet.. I should be completed by tonight. All that will be left is the landing gear and any weapons.Big Smile [:D]
