Lets see kits for Christmas, 1/48 Strike Eagle pretty sure on that big box under the tree, I hope a 1/72 DH-2, 1/48 ME110 and a 1/72 Sopwith Ships Camel. And some books to go along with the kits.

The latest I've stayed up is about 40 hrs. Last year 3rd-4th of July. Had some firends over, on the 3rd, stayed up all night. Then I had to help set up for a party later that day, then fireworks, then sleep. I'm actually planning an Airsoft op (a big event) that will run almost continuosly all night and 1.5 days. Kinda like the Army's final test thing.

No progress, I've been to busy working. Although I did get some time to see King Kong. I'd say go see it. I didn't think I'd like it but I was really surprized. Pretty good movie.

well, hopefully I'll get som progress in soon.

so any of you guys planning on getting any kits for Christmas?

Last new years some friend and I stayed up for 24 hours straight playing goldeneye, monopoly and watching infomercials on TV. I think I had 8 cans of coke that night, It was fun but I only do that once a year.

I was not up till 4:30AM I got up at 4:30AM I dont know what got me in the mood to take pics at 4:30AM in the morning, take note dont. I had to drink three cups of coke to stay awake till 9PM. I did stay up for 24 hours one time I dont really know why recall it was really boring to.

No work today I was getting other build done, maybe tomorrow.

ah, good, i see we have another night haunt keeper.  4:30 isnt a bad record man, though ive been up til 5:30 on some occasions, to get up at 6 for school, wasnt building though.  i think that takes the cake.

(P.S.- actually, don't ever do that, it was really dumb, and i got really screwed....)

been workin on some of the preiser figs, reposing them.  one is done and ready to paint, the other's takin a little longer.  i may have to scatch built an arm.  i dont think hell mind the prosthetic though, hell be dead....

I wouldn’t mind joining too if I can. I’ve never done a GB before, I could contribute my Revell PT-109.

a group build is where a bunch of members get together and build something according to a set of guidelines.  these vary from build to build.  for instance, we in the Young Guns can build anything, so long as we the participants are all junior modelers, under 18.  other builds may be about certain vehicles, units, time periods, theatres of combat, nationalities, etc.  Tipically, there's a time limit to the builds, generally a couple months.  this one goes until about April ( to allow for building time + school for us at least).  others may be "mad builds" where you build the subject in a weekend or less time.  each build has its own guidlines and rules given on the first page, along with the participants names and builds.  the GB's as we call them, normally have 'badges,' unique pictures that you put up in your sig (signature, at the bottom of all your posts, mine has four badges in it) and that tells people you're in a build.  thats basically it.  its a lot simpler than i described it.  just check out the first pages of builds to find out about them.

hope it helps!

PZL- a group build is a bunch of us getting together (over the net) and we decide upon building somethings on a decided topic (such as battle of the bulge Group build would require you to work on something from that era and battle) we just get together and talk about how its going, problems we have or just randumb stuff....this group build requires that you only have to be under 18 years old...and we just build anything.... hope that sums it up

well, today didnt do much, had to do my christmas shopping done, and tommorrow im not gonna have anything done cuz im gonna be SNOWBOARDIN THE WHOLE DAY!!!!

-enjoy skool- hehehe -DJ

At the risk of sounding ignorant, what exactly is a group build?

Very nice gringe! Lucky.

Nick, welcome back!

We had our last day today and it was quite crazy for me. 1-4 periods were grate. then at lunch I snuck off campus in my truck with some friends to go in some mud. Well I had a great time driving through a huge mud-water puddle thing. But apparently the place is private proprerty and somebody tipped off the school that there were a whole bunch of kids over there. As soon as I got back on campus I was screwed. They took me and my friends who were with me into the rc. (responsibility center). There they found that I was junior as well as my 2 friends. Juniors aren't allowed to leave campus at lunch. I had to talk to the po po (lol) and a whole bucnh of school people. I was able to make off with only a saturday school because I "cooperated." I was headed straight for suspension too, and they threatened to take away my license. Thak god I still have it.

My dad doesnt know I got in trouble but he was freakin mad when he saw my truck so dirty.

I hope this link works. One of my firends took a video  on my phone. this is me...

been workin a lot today because of, yep that wonderful climatic phenomenon, your friend andmine, SNOW.  snowday, FINALLY!!!!  course it sucked inthe morning, as my mom rushed into my room at 6:30 cause i was late gettin up and might niss the bus.  then once i was about to finishdressin and put my shoes on, she comes up, and tells me to go back to sleep, cause schools cancelled.  i equate it to one of the times when NORAD got a threat of nuclear war with Russia, and they scrambled to determine if it was real, and then just before they think doomsday is upon us,they find out it was a glitch, or test run by mistake.  NEway.....ive been buildin up a preiser germanfigure to be comin out of the bunker surrendering, andim hoping to make another dead in thetrench.  i would post up pics but our computer went down temporarily, so im using my dads crappy laptop, which i dont wanna put anything on because its had lots of problems in the past and hes trying to keep it clean of all 'unnecessary' material.  (actually, part of the crappiness comes from my having broken half the keyboard from hitting the keys too hard while playin MOHAA on it.  consequently, that got taken off with a load of other stuffMischief [:-,].)  but, stuffs gettin done at least....
