I'm probably going to try to put the name "Stuka Zwei" on the aircraft and make it a modern Kanonvogel Stuka setup.I just wish I had more kits to toss in I love what if scenario building it's a lil more fun in that you get to use your imagination a bit more

Nope "Stuka Zwei" is just going to be a personal insignia below the cockpit rim something the pilot named his aircraft it means "Stuka II" and the Kanonvogel setup is a weapons configuration used on WWII stukas for tank hunting with 37mm cannon pods under the wings I have a few gunpods from Hasegawa weapons sets lying around and thought I would use a coupleBig Smile [:D]

Hey Sturzkampf would it be alright if I add other build? I have a Tamiya 1/35 M113 Fire Support Vehicle that I would like to convert to a Sdkfz-300 Ausf.U Assault APC.

Got the figures built pics

Helmets are Tamiya, gear is Dragon. The Stug 44 are Dragon and the MG 42 and Panzerfaust are Tamiya.

Tempting idea, in fact a while ago, due to the "What If A-10 GB" I had already played with the idea of building a hog in LW colors, didn't do it than because it wasn't allowed.

But now you bring this GB on, and I must repeat myself... very very tempting, however I will have to ask my fuhrer first....

I will throw my hat into the ring here.  I may do a F-111 (have two spares sitting in the hanger to be built).  Tempted to do my favorite, the F-15.  Need to work up the courage on that one.....

See if your 'fuhrer' would let you do some 'experimental' design work Wink [;)] with the agreement that you watch the "youth" Wink [;)] for an entire Saturday.....  Maybe if you can promise little outlay from the 'state funds' you can get the green light. Big Smile [:D]

Nice combination you got there FrogFoot.
If I may suggest: do you have helmets with cloth cover, like the ones used by the SS, guess they would look a little more modern.

I must admit that I was thinking of Dragon's Modern Marine set when I suggested to use the MG42, but Tamiya's has a gunner, too.

Regarding my model I was thinking to name it Sk.70-G Sturmfalke, where "Sk" stands for Sikorsky, the company that makes Blackhawks in the real world.

Don't bother. It was only a suggestion. It's ok without cover, too.
In the real world, during the intial phase of OIF the MITCH didn't have covers either.

nice kit. i was looking at the figures and thought  that the weapons were too old (except for the mg 42, old but not antiquated). curiously, the Sg 44 is the base of the AK 47, and the panzerFaust is the base of the russian RPG. if you can, i suggest, ONLY suggest, that you can change the weapons, only if you can and want. the figures are all right, anyway.

Hm I might think about that. The AK-47's cant really do that since I dont have any. And my Russian figures have those and the RPG.The Panzerfaust I am going to replace with some thing. I might end up cutting up the M-16's to some thing different. Just playing with the figures right now.

Thanks, but dont think I will get them. They are 6.96 for 44 guns, and I am not that big of a fan modern figures. And would not have much use for the other 40, since I am more of a Napoleonic, Medieval and Anime builder.
